Review: The best fitness tracker in its price range and very accurate steps tracker/heart rate monitoring - - The design is very similar to its predecessor, though it's actually slightly larger so you won't be able to use your older Mi Band 4 or 3 bands with this device. - Its 1.11-inch AMOLED display supports 100% of the P3 color gamut but no ambient light sensor means you might have to adjust brightness a lot - The battery can last up to 14 days with all tracking functions turned on and up to 20 days with things like heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking disabled. - The new charging system attaches to the device magnetically without the need to detach the tracker from its band - Above all else, the Mi Band 5 is a solid fitness tracker overall. Sleep, heart rate, and step tracking are very accurate - The connection is very reliable making its many smart features easy to use - Xiaomi's Mi Fit app is fine and will surely satisfy the majority of users but can be unintuitive and ould benefit from an overhaul - For the price and what you get, this is a great fitness tracker and one of the best in its price range

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do I have to buy the magnetic charger separately?**
A: No need to, come with charger

**Q: Please! Can I know the bluetooth range?**
A: Average range for Bluetooth 5.0 is about 800 feet. Though data from the band is uploaded to your phone once you're in range and with the proper app.

**Q: How do you charge the device? Pics?**
A: It uses a usb charging cable that plugs into any standard USB port and attaches magnetically to the back of the device.

**Q: Will this fit an 11 year old?**
A: I believe you could purchase a band that is more compatible with your child's wrist size. There are several on the market from what I saw and my 7 year old wants one now. So got 2 for the kiddos!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Satisfied!
*by A***R on 28 July 2020*

I received the global version. And I must say its a pretty decent fitness tracker overall in this price range. The build of the mi smart band 5 is premium looking. The mi band 5 measures steps accurately, and it works well with the phone gps to give an accurate distance reading. The heart rate monitoring works pretty good in activity tracking and sleep analysis. The user interface and touch response is smooth. The bluetooth connection is fast and the band syncs with mi fit app quickly. Stress measure is there and it can calculate your stress on demand. If you enable stress monitoring in app, your stress value will be taken every 5 min whenever you are resting or sleeping. Breathing exercise is a good addition for your fitness. PAI function seems useful and might motivate you to do intensive workouts like running, cycling etc to increase your PAI score. Battery life is doing great. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase.
