Exactly as expected

Fast delivery. I replaced a roll of 3M tape with the same item number. This roll was notably thinner. I use it for temporary labels so I would perfer the old style.

I went to great lengths to find this as a sub for 3M Blue Painter Tape to blend with white walls. Tested small strips. Release from roll was a challenge. Appears to be strong enough for simple coverage and release over a period of time. As others commented, the tape is very thin & tears easy while unrolling. Key test will be how it releases 6 months from now and if adhesive gums up walls. So far I can't get it to stick to anything! Not even for the artist paintings. Too weak to stick to anything. waste for most applications. paper content does not help.

Great tape

I use this tape exclusively for hanging pictures and other items on walls. I can mark locations, make measurements and write them down right on the tape on the wall. And since the tape is white, my marks and measurements show up clearly - not so easy with the blue tape. When the picture hanger is installed, I can remove the tape easily without fear of taking up the paint or wallpaper. Great tape that I wouldn't be without when a customer has something to hang on a wall.

The safest, non-damaging tape I have ever found. Very-easy release and incredible masking qualities. To get a perfect seal, I always drag my fingernail across the edge to make a tighter seal.
