The instructions for the chime and switches were super easy to follow. This chime is a little smaller, so I had to adjust its position and make new screw holes. The original holes are visible, but a little filler and touch-up paint will solve that. I especially love that my front door switch now illuminates, I didn't have that before!! I would like it a little louder, but it will do. This is being used in conjunction with two smart doorbells and it is performing well. It's not overkill as we don't always have our phones on us at home. My only negative remark is a constant humming 24/7 coming from the unit.
