Review: Nice quiet "small" fan - Bought these to cool my motorhome fridge in hot weather. Sometimes in sunny weather the fridge has to work hard because it can't dissipate the heat especially if the sun moves round so the vents are in direct light. With these fans, one behind upper vent the other low down. it drastically cuts the work of the fridge motor. Only use them when needed.

Bought these to cool my motorhome fridge in hot weather. Sometimes in sunny weather the fridge has to work hard because it can't dissipate the heat especially if the sun moves round so the vents are in direct light. With these fans, one behind upper vent the other low down. it drastically cuts the work of the fridge motor. Only use them when needed.

Exactly as described, seem well made and certainly shift air at the rated 12V. However, they are far from quiet, with 3 fans clearly audible through a door in my house. Running at 6V (quarter power) they are acceptably quiet but obviously less effective. Not a good choice if low sound level is important.
