Saucers

They arrived quickly enough. They are thicker than some others, which I was looking for. I flexed them in several directions and they held up well, giving the impression they would last. My intention is to add laser engravings and give them as gifts or donations, and I think these will do very well for that.

They are good quality coasters and a good size for my purposes. I purchased them to laser engrave custom symbols and they do that well. The size is perfect for pint glasses and a larger. I was concerned that the depth was too small and they would be flimsy, but in fact, they very durable. I am now making lots of decent gifts with these, and have enough to make a couple mistakes.

I like these, they are a great size for my project. (I’m felting on them) Some people think they are too thin but I needed them that way so they weren’t super bulky after I added the wool. A big downside for me though is that there is some sort of dye on cork to make it a nicer wood-like brown. If you get them just a little wet you’ll probably never notice it, but to felt over the cork like I am I have to get them very wet and that’s when they start to bleed. On pastel wools the dye will stain. I’ve tried rinsing, soaking, and even putting them in my laundry machine. They still bleed. I will still use them with dark colors since it’s such a good value but I am sad I can’t use them with lighter colors.
