We have had two of these for 3 weeks now (I brought the green model too as I have twin 5-years olds). Right from the off I have been impressed by them for the price paid. I wanted a better level car than they had already and the other reviews suggested these would be ok. Having two batteries for each car is great and they charged really fast. In truth, we haven't got to use the 2nd battery that much yet as they last a good 20 mins and that's ok for the current attention span.They are fast, perhaps a little too fast for indoors and it overwhelms the steering a bit. Outside on the road that's currently very quiet, they are great. The other thing to let people know is they are very, very robust for youngsters.I thought I read that the a/b button on the control put it into different speeds but I can't seem to get the button to do this?Be aware that the steering is not progressive/incremental(?), it's with the full lock or nothing, so it takes some getting used to and can be tricky.

Got this for my grandson and he absolutely loves it.He’s had a fair few electric cars/trucks in the past but nothing with the power of this one!It can be used both indoors and outdoors but my grandson especially loves playing with it outside. The design and structure allows the truck to climb over obstacles like large rocks/logs and power through long grass and muddy areas. It isn’t affected by the damp at all so doesn’t matter if you’ve had some rain.It builds up great speed and moves really fast.The range on the controller is great, we were out in a large field and didn’t lose range once.The design is very appealing and charging time isn’t bad at all. My grandson is 3 and can manoeuvre it by himself.We love it and would highly recommend to anybody considering purchasing!

By far the best RC car purchase I've made to date. It's very fast, well built, and durable. Ready to go right out of the box, has "speed" dial so you can slow the car down for learners, making it easy learn how to control it. Turn the speed up and it flies! All wheel drive, it climbs well, goes up curbs no problem.Two things and my favorite part: it's incredibly well built with solid/durable plastic and metal components. I've driven this hard for about a week and nothing has broken - yet. BUT, virtually all components are available on amazon, so in the event something does break, it's replaceable. I'd say this is one of the best performing entry level RC car out there.

I bought this for one of my boys for birthday gift but being a big kid myself had to carefully take it out the box and give it a go myself. I think hes going to love it. The car itself is really well made with big chunky rubber tyres and big travelling suspension arms that respond well when you press them down and release. There is also a metal chassis which should help with durability and knocks and bumps. The remote fits in the hand nicely and is quite intuitive to use. The truck seems to be very quick to respond to signals from the remote and operation is smooth.Although not super quick the truck has quite a powerful motor on it. I didnt want to take it out in the garden as i didnt want to get it dirty, but i put some small obstacles and ramps etc in its way and managed to navigate over them really well, so i think it will have no problem going over bumpy grass and stones etc. From a full charge i got about half an hr use so cant complain about battery life, although it would have been nice to have another battery to play with rather than waiting another 2.5 - 3 hrs to recharge, still for under 25 quid I'm really happy with this little truck, reckon my lad will be too!

I bought this for my nephew's 6th birthday. He's been into 'cars' since the moment he could point and just loves playing with any type of toy car: Lightning McQueen, Blaze, you name it, if it's got four wheels, he's interested. So now he's a little older I thought it would be great for him to take the next step and own a toy car that moves by itself. Well, not 'by itself' but with the help of a remote control unit . I'm delighted to say, my nephew hasn't stopped playing with this RC car since he got it, whether that's on the upstairs long landing, or out on the back garden patio. He particularly enjoys putting his Lego figures in the driving seat and pretending they're driving the car. Very sweetSetting everything up for first use was apparently a doddle, and it's a nice touch that a hot-swappable battery is also included so you can be using one battery, while charging the other. Also included are disposable batteries for the RC unit itself.Control of the RC car itself is straight-forward, and much like anything else (learning to hoverboard, rollerskate etc) learning to control the car is something that comes quickly to kids

When this turned up I wasn't sure if it would be any good. I bought this for my 8 year old son. Im 37 and trust me when i say ""this is awesome"" it's very quick, agile and well built. Faster than I ever expected, love that I can dial the speed down. After a few days it just stopped working, contacted the seller and can not fault their communication and customer service. Before I even knew it a new one has been delivered and once again as soon as my son is asleep I'm out bombing around the neighbourhood. One very pleased 37 year old child and my son i guess haha. 100% recommend this product and the seller. THANK YOU
