Of several similar products, the Purely Optimal Berberine 1200 mg is so far the best for me. Two capsules about 9 or 9:30 am last all day. Aside from sleeping better and having better digestion, it curbs my appetite. These are very easy to swallow and have no bad smell or flavor. They are a great product and I appreciate a higher dosage amount in two capsules vs having to take 6+ of smaller dosage capsules. I believe these have really helped me push through my plateau in my weight loss, and have helped regulate my blood sugars in addition to a carb conscious diet. You may notice an “herby” smell to your urine (but I don’t know what supplement is causing that, regular vitamins can do it to me) and I wouldn’t consider that a reason not to take this supplement.
