Love these!
I had a trail of ants climbing up the corner of my house to the attic and then somehow working their way into every room of the house it seemed. I found where all the major trails were, and any mounds and strategically placed these around. By the time I finished placing all 8 stakes out, and came back to look at the real big trail on the corner of my house I was shocked. it had only been 10-15 minutes at most and the stake was just COVERED in these ants. And I think it was just a FEW days and I saw a huge decline. This was in May so 6 months ago and I am just now starting to see a few stragglers around so I am buying again. I recommended these to my parents who have tried all kinds of sprays and granules to put around the perimeter of their home with no help and they had the same experience. Very pleased to not have to have a ton INSIDE the house, that just putting these out did the trick. And I believe the directions say you should replace quarterly basically but I have gone 6 months before seeing ants. Very impressed and pleased. I think they are quite affordable too. This listing is for 16 stakes I only need one package though to go around my entire house. Placing on each corner and other various spots in the yard where I found mounds.... works like magic. The video may be hard to see but there are a ton of ants going in and out of the stake.

Terro works!
I am giving a 4 star due to what happened. As this is a Terro product, they all work great. I ordered the T1812 outdoor baits in a two pack which is 16 baits. I received the Terro T1813 2 pack, (still 16 baits) which is a different model. I do not think this was a "bait and switch" tactic because the plastic wrapping was mis-marked as the T1812 version. I do think someone should have paid better attention. I have never bought a Terro product that didn't work, so I will keep and use them. Another issue I had was with delivery. This package was delivered to the wrong address, but the residents of that address were honest enough to put it on my porch, thankfully. Update: I ordered these a second time thinking I would get the correct ones that they show in their listing, the T1812 stakes. Nope, got the T1813 stakes again. I do not know if this "bait and switch" or just laziness from these sellers to update their listings, so I did some research. I looked at different online sellers, and I looked at Terro's website directly. I found the same complaint everywhere I looked. Folks ordering the T1812's and getting the T1813's instead. I looked at reviews from three different sellers here on Amazon who displayed pictures of the T1812's in their listing and it was the same story. Even on the Terro site from people who ordered them directly from them had the same thing happen, and, Terro does not even list the T1812's in their product line up, meaning... they were probably discontinued for the newer style. I filed for a return/refund but after seeing that these older T1812's simply do not exist anymore, I decided to just keep and use them. Do these new ones work? The design makes them harder for the ants to climb them once they find them, but you can push these in further than the originals. The ants are going in and out of some but ignoring others. So far, I have not seen a significant decline, but two areas I am trying to get rid of them are raised beds and those colonies are pretty large. Time will tell.

Does work keeping ants away
Ants around my carport. Put these around my carport and back of house. Do not see the billions of ants that for some reason love my carport. Very effective.

Excellent producto
I've tried so many things. Finally, something that actually works. It works quickly, too. This is now my go-to ant control. If you have ants in the house, use this to get rid of them before they enter.

BUYER BEWARE! NOT AS PICTURED!
Not even one star. These are not the old-style heavy duty ant stakes that are pictured. These are the cheaper, flimsier and way less effective 1813B stakes. Shame on both Terro AND Amazon for allowing this "bait and switch" to continue, as you clearly are advertising the old model number in the post and replacing with the new version, which are terrible.

Terro but NOT as pictured.
The product received was barcoded as the t1812. What it is is actually the t1813. Do not order these unless you are OK with the t1813. Much flimsier stakes. I wanted for very hard ground and I had to use a tool to make a hole because they buckle trying to drive into a harder surface. Thinking they no longer make the t1812.

Easy to use and work great. Purchased because of pets.
We have dogs and goats which roam the yard so wanted to find something to take care of the Argentinian ants down here in North Carolina. These work great. These are self contained, easy to use, and the ants are attracted to the syrup. I have bought four boxes of them as they work so well.
