Cosco Dreamride SE Latch Preemie Baby Infant Seat Auto Car Bed Carrier

I love that this car seat latches easily and my baby has the chance to lay down on long car rides. It decreased my child’s fussiness in the car. My only caveat is that my baby will be too long for it a lot faster than he will meet the weight limit. But the peace we had while driving around for summer trips was worth it.

Perfect for longer than 45 minute car rides. We used this on our1000 mile move with our 1 month old. She slept almost the entire trip and we loved that she could just lay flat and be safe.The bassinet is easy to use and I definitely recommend this for longer trips!

We bought this to use for our child with OI. There are several things about it that make it a huge pain in the butt. 1. The straps cannot be righted when already on the baby or in the car as they need to be pulled out from the base of the seat. It is not like other car seats where you can easily adjust the tension. This makes it difficult to use as you cannot have your baby in the seat (especially if they have a OI) which was frustrating to use. 2. The handle is awkward and need to be pulled from either side to fold down. Again, awkward as you’ll end up jerking the plastic away and startling the baby if they’re sleeping. 3. There’s no base plate to make the seat level in the car. As far as I’m aware all seat in cars slant down where you sit (ask my phone when I sit down. It always goes that way). This makes it so the baby isn’t at a level position and learns towards the seat (a lot). For a child with a disability that is not okay (especially OI). For a normal baby I’d give this a 2 star rating. However, most people aren’t looking for this seat if there child is normal.

We got this for our preemie who suffers from bradies if her chin angles too far down. She failed her carseat test 3 times due to low O2 stats. She has no issues in this seat and falls right asleep. Saves us a piece of mind not having to worry that she is going to stop breathing in her car seat.

Overall I am glad I purchased this car bed for my newborn. She was born term with average weight. It served its main purpose of keeping my baby flat on her back which is certainly the healthy approach for newborns. And we are still using it for our 7 month old baby (even though hight wise, our baby has outgrown it a while ago..). Generally She sleeps well in it during our longer rides.This car seat comes with its cons obviously:I didn’t like that the lining is made of warm senthetic material. My baby would sweat in it.I didn’t like that The safety sticker was by the baby’s face. Poking her occasionally.If you’re purchasing this car bed, Take into Consideration that you will not have space for a third passenger in the back because the care seat takes up a lot of space.And finally, I wish there were adapters for this car seat to be able to assemble it on a stroller.

Love that this is here for my son is in a body cast due to a medical issue he was born with. But made it more comfortable for my little guy and easy to transport him from the hospital to home. Thank you.

I feel the company has missed represented themselves on this product. After opening the box, saw this car seat, It does NOT!! LOOK!! At all like the pictures on Amazon! My grandson is 12 pound's, and he barely fits in it. It clearly states, up to 20 lbs on their sites description. So disappointed!! 🥺.Not to mention how expensive it was. I also paid additional $20, just to make sure it arrives on time before we left on our trip. Won't be able to use it now. 🤨. I will be returning this car seat (bed).

Love this car bed for our preemie. Baby has plenty of room and is not squished like she would be in a regular car seat. This car bed can be used up until baby is 20 pounds.
