Wasn’t sure how this would taste. It taste great just like regular miso but with a richer taste, it’s very good.

Great miso paste
Good umami miso taste. Less salty than some other brands. It’s a little pricey for the amount but to me it is worth the cost because of the great packaging. Very convenient to dispense exactly how much you need and save the rest.

Delicious!
High quality and delicious in all the recipes that I used it in, especially my miso glazed salmon. A must buy if you are trying to cut down on added salt.

Makes a tasty soup base fast.
I love Miso soup but finding the right base can be a problem. I don't care for the dried soup Miso mixes they seem to take a long time to re hydrate. This product of Japan Miso paste dissolves quickly in hot water to make a lovely soup. I use it with dried vegetables, bean flakes, tofu and sea weed for a quick lunch.

Okay flavor, but pricey.
The flavor was good, but honestly I couldn’t tell the difference between this miso and regular red miso. Not really worth the price difference.

Lovely product!
I used this in a suadero beef taco dish and it really brought that umami flavour. Also great as part of a marinade for Korean cut short ribs 😋
