Any difference between this Japanese version vs, the English version from the manufacturer?

Dear William, there are no differences between devices are sold in Japan and elsewhere in the world, all devices are identical. Only the enclosed paper manual is Japanese. You can go to the HIOKI website and download an English manual in pdf format if you need it. Best Regards Steffen from Germany
