I only purchased a small bag because Im having a hard time trying to find a kibble that an older dog will eat. I think this is the perfect food so far due to the freeze dried and smaller bites this is easy on her gums and teeth she devoured this so Im in the middle of reordering a larger bag.

It is by far not the cheapest, but our pets deserve better than the cheapest. They love this food and do not overeat with it. They produce good stools and are getting the nutrients they need. This is a good size for Shih Tzu and Poms. Have not tried other flavors.

She loves it. And no seizures! Crossing fingers.

UPDATE 9/16/22: I just ordered a 4lb bag in a pinch, and the kibble was exactly as it should be. Would order the 4lb bag again, but still wouldn’t risk the bigger bags. There have been supply chain issues with this brand due to the pandemic. Totally understandable, but when I finally saw a bag of the whole grain small breed blend available, I ordered it immediately. Sadly, this is the worst quality bag of this dog food I’ve ever received. So, so many of the kibbles are burnt, while so many others actually look black/grey and molded. I ordered a 10lb bag and couldn’t return it, so I just ended up picking out all of the gross pieces before feeding my dog. Tedious and sad to not get entirely what I paid for, but not a huge deal otherwise. I found another online retailer that sells this brand and it’s tax free. Amazon is of course convenient, but after this experience, and knowing there are supply issues, I just don’t trust that Amazon will carry a good quality bag of this food. I’ve had no issues with the product from any other retailer. All that said, this is a great dog food. My dog has a sensitive stomach and it was difficult finding a whole grain dog food that didn’t include multiple protein sources or any legume-family ingredients. He used to have stomach issues all the time, and now they are super rare and solely related to travel stress. The food smells good and you can tell it’s just so much better than regular kibble.

Our Little senior Yorkie loves this just the right size however some of it has broken pieces so I have to put it in a dish strainer to strain out the crumbs because she won't eat them. I will continue to keep buying as long as she keeps eating it.

Our fairly picky dog usually likes this kibble; however, some bags arrived smelling rancid. When we offer this kibble from even a mildly rancid bag, the dog won't eat it & instead picks up little chunks from the bowl and tosses them around the kitchen, dining room & living room, making a statement of protest. The last 2 bags we've purchased both smelled bad. You might want to smell the open bag to make sure it's good before offering any to your dog! Just ignore the Amazon fragrance on the bag exterior.

Don't think I've ever written a good review before but really wanted to for this. My 8 pound maltese is probably the pickiest eater out there. He is absolutely unmotivated by food or treats, and even his usual favorite foods are subject to frequent spontaneous decisions to simply not eat. We had to take him off of a kibble-only diet really early on when he stopped eating his kibble altogether a few weeks after coming home (eventhough he'd been devouring it for the first few weeks). He's rarely been eating kibble since for the past 2 years. Eventhough he would occasionally choose to eat his kibble after we switched to different brands of adult dry food, he almost always ignored it. We were getting worried that he wasn't getting all the nutrients he was supposed to from the home cooked food he was eating, so I decided to try a sample pack of a new formula to see if he would engage at all. I was inspired to look for a healthier/more transparent formula from all the dehydrated dog foods made from fresh ingredients coming out recently. I was initially worried about this because the "clusters" were much bigger than the small pellets my guy was used to, but he's been eating these heartily for the past couple of months and finishes however much I give him on a daily basis (note that he's still on a variety diet and only eats these as a meal addition once a day). I also love that they don't stink like regular kibble and apparently have no fillers/meat meal, and the 1 pound pack was great to be able to test it out without worrying about wasting whole bags. I hope they really are as healthy as it says they are because atm they're a godsend.
