Perfect balance of freedom and structure
(tldr; see pros & cons at end :) Okay, so I always intend to write reviews, yet I very rarely actually do -- but planners are such an important yet individually unique thing, in terms of whether they are the right fit, that I rely heavily on reviews myself, and so I wanted to share my thoughts on this one, because I'm really excited about it. This planner has so much more than it even shows in the product description and photos, but yet it is still minimalistic enough to not feel overwhelming. I've only just received this and am starting to set it up, but I have used SO many different styles and layouts of planners in the past -- including ones I've custom made myself in binders with removable pages, tried the bullet journal thing, etc. (love the idea in theory, but way too much work in setup and maintenance, so not realistic for me) -- that I already know what I'm looking for, and I know what will work for me -- and what won't. This one feels like the perfect balance of all the things I need without all of the extra fluff that just becomes a distraction (like mind maps and three-year goal planning and things like that that I can do elsewhere in a more free form notebook). What *I* need, for how *MY* mind and life works, is just a functional, day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month personal planner (I keep my work planning separate) -- somewhere where I can capture the things I need to get done, do daily/weekly/monthly planning in a simple way, and keep track of important dates and miscellaneous things that I need to remember. So far the best ones that I had found for me in the past were the Bullet Keeper Perfect Planner, and the At-a-Glance Plan.Write.Do undated planner,, but I think this one may be even better. So I don't keep rambling in run-on sentences, here's a pros and cons list: PROS: -- Nice solid hardcover, feels like good quality, and the elastic closure is a nice thick quality one that feels like it will last instead of getting stretched out like some of the cheap ones do. -- Well thought out design with just enough flexibility, yet enough structure to not have to spend a bunch of time doing setup every month or week. -- A full page each for monthly to dos and notes, as well as a monthly budget layout. I don't care so much about the budget part, but I absolutely LOVE having a page dedicated to monthly to-dos. I was planning on having to do that in the notes section at the back, so I'm really happy to have that already included up front so I can dedicate the back section to master lists and / longer-term planning. - Monthly calendar sections leave the headers for the day of the week blank so you can choose whether you want your week to start on Sunday or Monday (or Wednesday, for that matter!). Also there is an extra row with a couple of days to accommodate the longer months that start later in the week. I love this flexibility, and if I have extra blank days then I can just use those for a sneak preview of the next month. - Weekly planning pages dedicate a full day each to Saturday and Sunday, unlike so many planners that squeeze the two of those into one space. Thank you! I usually have LONGER to do lists on the weekends, so I really hate it when they are treated as secondary! -- Weekly planning pages have both a shaded and a white section for each day but they don't try to presume what you want to use those for and pre-populate headers. I really like that flexibility, so I can choose if I want to use those for a schedule and a to do list, or high priority vs. lower priority tasks, or goals vs habit tracking, etc etc. -- Weekly routine pages at the front! There are three of these spreads. I've never really seen this done other than for academic year planners, but I like having a place to capture a few different recurring weekly routines that may change a few times during the year, whether it's school, sports, volunteer or social activities, etc. -- things that I don't necessarily want or need to write down everyv single week, but can still have handy to refer to. -- I'm really excited about the perforated shopping list pages at the end. This is such a great idea. I always have shopping lists floating around the house, but never want to put them in my planners because then I have to transcribe them somewhere else. So this is perfect and I think will be really useful. CONS: -- The pen loop is just a little too small for any of my favorite standard-sized pens such as my uni-ball signo RT or a pilot G2. But, my smaller/slim Zebra F-301 fits perfectly, so I can live with this. Just be aware that any standard gel pen especially anything with any grip texture, is not going to want to fit through the pen loop. -- I don't care for the cutout design of the notes pages tabs at the end. I don't know if it's intended to make it easier to get to them or to get to the shopping list pages, but for some reason it bothers me. Completely a personal preference thing, and very minor. -- Ink will bleed through the pages if you're using a felt tip pen (for example an ultra fine sharpie). This is true for all but the thickest planner/notebook pages, and it's not a problem for me, but I know for some people it might be. That said, the paper is good quality and the pages are plenty thick for my purposes. - I would personally like it if the weekly planning pages left the days of the week blank too, like the monthly ones, so I could choose what day of the week I want to start my planning. I generally do my personal weekly planning on the weekends, so I'd rather start on Saturday than Monday -- but considering that this is the way almost every planner is laid out, I can live with it. -- I wish the "Christmas shopping" and "Christmas gift" idea sections at the end just said "gifts" instead of assuming Christmas. Still a handy section, though. The cons are very minor and far outweighed by the pros, so I'm still giving this five stars, because I think in terms of both quality and design, it deserves it.

Best Planner!
This was my go-to planner for years, but they discontinued it, and I am devastated! I had to buy a new one for this year and it is not as good. I love undated planners because I am a teacher and I like to start my year in July. This gives plenty of blank (lined) pages in the back, tear-away shopping list, monthly and weekly calendars. All this while still being compact and good quality. It also came with stickers for certain reminders. Would highly recommend, if they start selling them again.

Amazing!
I originally purchased two journals. One for myself and for my coworker. And let me tell you it is such a great journal that my mum had me ordered two more, one for herself and her friend! Then my best friend loved mine so much she had me ordered another one for her. That’s a total of fiver orders! We love this journal so much. It’s making tracking certain expenses so easy. There’s something about putting pen to paper that software cannot replace! My only critic is that I wish the section for entering my spending activities was two pages because I surely do a lot within one month so one page isn’t enough. However, I could also view this as a pro for me to find a way to decrease how often I do a transaction. Either way the chances of me purchasing again for myself and for others is very high as this is a solidddddd journal! I haven’t used the grocery shopping feature yet but I can’t wait until I do!

Many more pages than necessary
I was trying to find a small, gender-neutral planner that would be useful for my high school student. While the dimensions of the notebook looked promising, it is too thick. It includes pages for budgeting, Christmas shopping, general shopping lists, notes, etc. I wish it was a little more streamlined, but my child likes it well enough and hopefully will use it to keep track of their assignments!

Like that it does not have pages and pages for goal setting, and the price is reasonable.
I like that this planner allows you to start using it anytime of the year and personalize the calendar. I also enjoy it's removeable grocery lists that enables one to keep a running list for the store when planning meals and errands; that seems to be missing in many planners. It is about the perfect size for my needs--not too large to pack in my somewhat large purse. Overall it's not too detailed, which I enjoy since the planner's purpose is to make my life easier by writing down what needs to be done as reminders, not to plan my future for the next 30 years. If you're a super goal setter, this may not be your dream planner, but it's mine.

My favorite planner!
These are my absolute favorite planners. I love all the extra space for notes, the full overlook and the shopping list. This is my 4th one from Boxclever and they all have held up beautifully. If you use the elastic strap it will eventually stretch so I just leave it on the back.

Good, not great
Cover is nice and sturdy. Attractive appearance. Pages are thin, beware using gel pen because the ink will bleed through. Little disappointed there because I like to use colors to make different things stand out. Nice layout. Helpful shopping lists at the back. Arrived with a tear in first page. Not a big deal since that page is not used for anything. Overall, not bad.
