Last night I successfully emulsified 1.5 teaspoons of tea tree oil using 1:1 ratio of polysorbate-20, and two cups distilled water. The solution was clear Like gasoline. If you try to emulsify vegetable oils with this product, you’re going to fail miserably. You need polysorbate-80 for that, but for essential oils, it seems to work only with a ration of 1:1.
