However, on one edge of the rug it wasn’t cut straight but I will put my sofa over it and because the price of the rug being a lot less than what I would usually pay I won’t send it back. If the rug was falling apart it would go back but it isn’t. Also, It did have a smell for a few days but its gone now. The roll marks are still showing in the rug. There is a 2 inch black border around the perimeter of the rug making it a little larger than advertised(at least on the 7ft by 10 ft one.) There is also small splashes of red/burgandy in the flowers on the rug that you can't really see in the pictures. I am very traditional so I thought the red was going to be a problem, but it ended up really working in a neutral room. I have even put a few accent pieces of red in the room to compliment the splashes of color in the rug. This was a milestone for the beige queen. This rug's price and quailty are both much better than what you would find in a big box store. I have young children, a boston terrier and a jack russell terrier that use our huge living room as their personal playground. I was looking for something large enough to fill the space and cheap enough that I would not be upset if it were to be damaged. We have wood floors so I purchased a rug pad and a rug grip to put under the rug and it is comfortable enough that the kids will lay down on it to watch tv and our dogs are satisfied enough to just lay on the rug instead of jumping up on our couches. I didn't think I would be upset if my cheap rug got damaged, but now I guard it even more than my much more expensive and smaller rugs there is no food or drinks allowed on this $90 prized possession. I just don't feel like I'd ever be lucky enough to find a rug of this size, quailty and price again. Absolutely love them but the round one starting looking worn and had some food, etc spilled on it. That is expected after ten years. I was SO happy to find the same rug again and ordered to replace it. The only problem is that even though the rug came rolled up it had evidently had something else heavy lying or sitting on top of it for quite some time. Probably in warehouse, I don't know but because of that it has ridges in it and doesn't lie completely flat. I was hoping after I had it under my kitchen island it would improve but it's been over a month now and it really hasn't.
