Good kit so far. Good compression after rebuild. Make sure you install rings the right way up!
When I first rebuilt my gy6 150cc motor I had low compression and excessive oil in the cylinder. I tore the engine apart again and found that my piston rings were installed upside down. I flipped them over the right way and the engine has 155psi compression and no oil problems. The motor runs great after 3 hours or so of run time. You DO NOT need to bore the case on your motor with this kit which as also really nice. You will almost certainly need to rejet your carb. I used a #125 main jet with this big bore kit, performance head, nibbi intake, and straight through exhaust.

Working great so far
Bolted right up, fired right up too. The flexible gasket between cylinder and bottom end didn't seem to fit exactly right, but close enough for everything to fit. I'm still breaking it in, will update once everything's settled in.

Much better then the last one I purchased piston fit good ran great I would recommend it. Just reused head there was no issues with mine

Piston Changed and Now it Interferes
Purchased this kit in 2020 and worked fine. Lost compression so decided to purchase same kit again, but after assembling, the piston hits the crankshaft and will not allow full revolutions. Piston is visibly different on the new kit vs. the old kit.

G clips?
Items where of great quality but instead of the pictured g clips for the thrust bearing I got floating clips. They work the same just not as easy to install. Still breaking in the engine. Update: 15 miles into break in 1/4 throttle rides a compression ring borke in half. Checked my oiling system and its working great. I was using over sized jets for the break in so it wouldnt be lean. So heat and fuel where not a issue. Sadly you get what you pay for.

Perfect
Check your piston. This one was an exact match for my engine. This one lined up with the valves perfectly. Others had different valve profiles in the piston.

Probably the best you can expect for the price
Seems ok. rings are very hard to clock mark the oil rings. exhaust gasket is useless unless you use sealant. In fact all the gaskets were sub OEM and wound up replacing them with higher quality.
