See the 'material type' selection. **Q: How does this improve over the stock Breville portafilter? Why not just unscrew the double spout and use the stock portafilter spoutless?** A: The bottomless portafilter's main role is to hone in your shot. It allows you to see how the shot is formed and dispensed. Basically to help you eliminate channeling. That being said I use it all the time for two reasons. 1) The shot, once dialed in, forms toward the center and flows directly into the cup. In the Breville portafilter, even with the double spout removed, coffee will likely flow onto the metal bottom and then into the cup. 2) It is easy to clean! After knocking out the puck, I just put it under the sink sprayer, top & bottom, shake, hold up to light, and its easy to see if the holes are all clean. **Q: Will this securely fit the gevi gecme403u machine ?** A: Thanks for your message, we are glad to tell you that this bottomless portafilter will fit for your Gevi Espresso Machine GECME403-U, you can buy it with the link below: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09YRC5KV6 **Q: Will this work with a Breville 860xl?** A: Is the 54mm is working my coffee machine is BES870XL and it works very well ## Frequently Bought Together - 54mm Bottomless Portafilter Compatible with Breville Barista Express, BES870XL, BES870BSXL, BES878BSS, BES880BSS Espresso Machine (ABS Handle-Black) - IMS Precision 18-22 g filter basket B62.52TH28E compatible with 54mm Breville Sage Espresso machines Express, Bambino, Bambino Plus BES450, BES500, BES880, BES810BSS, BES860XL, BES870XL, BES878 - Normcore V4 Coffee Tamper 53.3mm - Spring-loaded Tamper – Barista Espresso Tamper with 15lb / 25lb / 30lbs Replacement Springs - Anodized Aluminum Handle and Stand - Flat Base --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/248141431-firjoy-54mm-bottomless-portafilter-compatible-with-breville-barista-express-bes870xl](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/248141431-firjoy-54mm-bottomless-portafilter-compatible-with-breville-barista-express-bes870xl) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
