How do you get rid of that nasty smell. I have washed it four times and let it soak in white vinegar wash and I can still smells horrible

ALL my merino wool clothes smell horrible while washing but it goes away after drying. It's a natural animal hair and the smell should be expected unless clothing had been treated by manufacturer. It will eventually go away after hanging in the fresh air outside a few times. Hope this helps a little.

Does this blanket have a fire retardant on it?

Seller claims it's "fire retardant", which is probably just probably just a misunderstanding by the seller. Fire retardant in terms of this blanket would mean the material that would otherwise catch on fire (and melt onto your skin), has had its fibers treated chemically to be self-extinguishing. Whereas "fire resistant" in terms of cloth or this blanket means that it resists catching on fire (naturally self-extinguishes) to begin with, as in the case of wool.

Does the manufacturer state that there is no fire retardant chemical added during the manufacturing process?

That’s correct. We’ve checked several times with our manufacturer and they continually confirm they don’t add any fire retardant to the blankets. Thanks for checking!

What are the dimensions of this blanket after it has been washed?
