There are a few of these lambskins available here on Amazon by different companies. The length on this one caught my attention, but the lack of reviews made me wonder if I should get this or buy one that had a lot of great reviews. I bought this for my baby who HATES tummy time. I mean really, truly hates tummy time. He struggles with it a bit and most mats made for tummy time are slippery. This, however, he doesn't mind and actually was smiling while laying on it. It gives him something to grip. It's more comforting. It's just easier and less stressful for him. The length is perfect. I had read in one review that it wasn't as long as the person wanted. I wouldn't say that should deter you if you're considering buying it. It's definitely longer than other rugs of this type, but keep in mind this is designed for a baby to use. Your hand isn't supposed to sink into fur up past your wrist. It really doesn't have a smell. I mean, it may smell like faint, clean, wool but that's it. It seems very hygenic. I love that it's machine washable. When he's done with it, it will grace the seat of my computer chair. That's where I keep it now when it isn't tummy time. It's very soft. It's lovely. It will last us for a lot of years to come. Definitely worth the investment.

This lamb skin is super soft. Perfect for babies or bedridden older folks to use for getting rid of bed sores or preventing them. Love the feel.

I've probably bought 25 sheepskins over the years. It's my "go to" gift for any friends or family having a baby, and this is my "go to" supplier. My three kids were inseparable from their "woolies" when they were young, and we just got a new one for our first grandson who arrived this past summer. We've had a ton of experience with sheepskins, including washing them repeatedly after the inevitable spitups and spills. This company products beautiful sheepskins that come well packaged and make the perfect gift. They are durable, meaning they don't shed a ton of wool or get noticeably smaller or torn up after washing. Great product from a great company.

I’ve bought a lot of sheep skins from various vendors and this is one of the good ones. I’ve definitely learned you get what you pay for. This one is reasonably priced, but not the cheapest. What you get for that is an actual natural off-white, looking quality sheep skin. The ones I’ve bought for less tend to be very bleached white and look more like fake fur.

High Quality and Soft my baby was born in December in Wyoming so it's cold! It does as it says and my baby stays warm but he doesn't sweat with it. He loves it, it's soft and covers the whole bassinet he sleeps in for naps. My children are fair skinned and have sensitive skin and my baby's had no issues. It's extremely soft and warm. We've used it since he came home from the hospital. It's a perfect size for a bassinet or crib

This rug has been the perfect addition to our home. Made for cute newborn photos, a nice spot to set baby while interacting with them and also a nice soft lining for a cradle when you’re supervising baby! Can’t tell if it’s real or not but it’s beautiful nonetheless.

My baby absolutely loves her sheepskin rug ! She loves to nap and pull her fingers threw the hair. The fur is thick and soft and doesn't have an odor. The color is as expected and I haven't noticed any shedding of hair !

I didn't purposely buy it for a baby! I bought it for my daughter who's 50 and had surgery which involved taking fat from her rear to reconstruct her breast area after a failed mastectomy. She was in a lot of pain and this really helped her a lot. We used several different modes to help post surgery. She's also post surgery and back to work now about 3+ months and doing really well. She's having a grandson in a couple of days well her son and daughter in law are having a baby so this may be passed on..... If she can bare to part with it. I have a bad back and bought one years ago from a different store and I remembered how much it relieved my back pain. I may get another one soon.
