Great quality!
Love these! I like that they have their own cap so that you don’t have to use the adhesive ones that cause issues with leakage. It’s nice and tight, allowing for just the right amount of coffee to go through. They have a filter, which gives the perfect flow without having to chew your coffee. I’m considering ordering more because the one thing I don’t like is having to fill them and go through the process two times (I drink two coffees to wake up) before I’m fully awake. My suggestion is to not fill to the brim, the filet of the cap goes further in than I expected so the first couple of times I had to remove some coffee. The package comes with everything you need, the little scoop is perfect, I use 2 scoops and a half, and the stainless steel tool to get it nice and tight has a longer handle than most, so you don’t get your hands all with coffee as I keep it in the coffee box so I don’t lose it. Much better than buying expensive new be time use pods. Choose your best win favorite coffee and save money.Pros:-save money- easy to use- very high quality with filtered topCon- pain in the butt to clean and reuse, especially shortly after use because the pod is still very hot- takes time to figure out exactly how much to fill- depending on how many people drink coffee in the morning, I’d have a pod for each coffee made in the mornings so you don’t have to clean and refill while still sleepy

Great product for Espresso !!!
I love the product, after reading the different reviews and see some disappointed people I would like to share my experience. The product performs best to do a espresso, for lungos it doesn't work as well, they feel too light.Preparation steps I followed:I added coffee and gently pressed it with the spon included on the package, when I pressed too hard the water didn't go through and only got some drops on coffee.I filled the pod, leaving room to add the lid + a bit more spaceI used illy coffee and love the results !!I would buy it again !

Makes tasteless coffee-colored water
The idea is fantastic. In actuality, the coffee quality is absolutely terrible. It does not produce a Krema. Even with the smallest size pull through the capsule, the coffee is weak. It is clearly not an espresso in terms of taste, strength, or quality. My daughter is a barista at a coffee shop. And she understands the proper steps of making espresso and she cannot get this to work. It is not possible to tamp these grounds. I have no idea how to use the device any different than how I show in the video. The demonstration video on Amazon is vague and they don’t show the end product. To be clear. The end product is an extraordinarily watery cup of pseudo coffee.I like a good cup of coffee, and I love espresso. This device makes absolutely terrible coffee.I could not feel more misled or ripped offI would be happy to revise this review if someone could provide me a video that shows me how to make better coffee using this capsule.

Caveat Nespressor
[EDIT, 6/15/2026: I’ve added a star to my original review, because i Cafilas offered me, unprompted, a full refund for the product. I accepted. That’s exceptional customer service.] Original review: The refillable capsule is a wonderful concept, but I’ve never been able to make it work. Even when I fill them with finely ground, dark-roast coffee, the resulting brew is too weak for my taste. I did some research after my latest failure with the refillable ones and learned that, because of the internal workings of my Citiz Nespresso machine, the aftermarket refillable capsules like these are designed to be shorter than the standard, disposable ones. Something about the way the machine pierces the disposable capsules. As a result, the refillables’ capacity for ground coffee is lower. At the suggestion of my coffee roaster, I even tried having my beans commercially ground into almost a powder, but the resulting beverage was still too weak. It was a noble experiment, but unless technology comes around to overcome the capacity issue, I’ll have to stick to ordering my usual disposable aluminum capsules for my Citiz original-line Nespresso machine.

Buena producto.
Cuela bien. Hace buena espuma.

Not super effective, takes multiple tries
They "sort of" work. I bought these both to be better for the planet and particularly so that I could have decaf espresso without buying special pods. Sometimes I use these with aluminum foil tops that I purchased and sometimes with the original stainless steel tops. Either way, I can say that when I am closing my espresso machine, it makes a cracking noise due to the hardness of the capsule which is a little off putting and makes me think I'm breaking my machine-- I'm not, but it sounds like it is. I agree with those who suggest that not packing the espresso helps it a little bit, though, of course, that also affects the quality of the espresso you get. Whether I use the aluminum foil caps or the original caps I find that I have to push the brew button multiple times to get an actual cup-- the tiny hole(s) that allows the water to be pushed through the capsule does not push much water through in the end. Bottom line, it's just not as effective as the regular capsules that are made for the machine, and even with multiple pushes on the brew button, you may not get as strong a cup of espresso as you like.

With a little extra work you can save a ton on pods
It took about a week and 2 calls into Amazon to even get this in the mail however it did finally arrive. At first I was very unhappy with it and was going to return it but then I read some other reviews and decided to make sure my coffee was extra fine. After re-grinding my coffee I tried again and have been very happy. I filled the steel pod up to the top with coffee and then use the tamper to press it down enough to put the lid on. I have found this makes a decent coffee. You have to use the espresso setting unless you like very weak coffee. I found I can use the espresso setting twice (remove pod and put it back in so the coffee runs through the other side more instead of just pushing the button twice in a row) and get a decent cup that way. It’s a bit of a hassle because it doesn’t work as awesome as the pods but it certainly works well enough for the money savings on the pods and me being able to use a high-quality organic coffee instead of whatever Nestlé uses.
