Tooth & Gums Tonic Herbal Mouthwash Oral Rinse 18fl oz, Dental Herb Company

My dentist introduced me to Dental Herb Company's Tooth and Gums Tonic (aka mouthwash) after my first appointment with him last year. I now use this product at least once daily; it really does wonders for my oral hygiene.The first thing you'll notice when you open the packaging is that this mouthwash is heavy. Instead of plastic, the bottle is made of glass (not counting the plastic cap). And even though the price is high when compared to say, Listerine, this mouthwash has succeeded where others failed. It rid my gums of irritation, puffiness and inflammation.That said, this mouthwash is very strong. It's not bitter, but if your gums are similar to mine, it'll sting them like hell for the first week or so. Once you get used to the medical-grade formula, swishing it around your mouth feels similar to the cheap, regular strength stuff. Also, expect each 18 oz. bottle you purchase to last 2 to 3 months (if used every day).It's worth mentioning that this mouthwash is brown in color. This is strikingly different (and strange) than the neon greens and blues I've come to expect from other brands. Supposedly, this slightly off-putting shade is a byproduct of the various all-natural ingredients that go into manufacturing this solution.I'd recommend using this Dental Herb Company product if you have bad breath, sensitive teeth & gums or if you experience bleeding when your brush. It also helps cure common dental ailments such as gingivitis. Thanks to this product, taking care of my gums and teeth is simpler, and much more effective!P.S. Dental Herb Company makes toothpaste too. I'm looking forward to trying it out soon.

I first purchased the Dental Herb Co. Irrigant but it wasn't really solving the problem. I had 1 molar which had an issue in the gum on one side of the molar and my hygienist sold me a bottle of Peridex for the problem. I didn't want green teeth which is a side effect of that product so, I found the Dental Herb Co. products and reviews here on Amazon and ordered their irrigant.Determined not to go to my 4 month check up without solving this gum issue, I then ordered Tooth & Gums Tonicbefore resorting to the Peridex green teeth method so, the hygienist wouldn't write me up as a difficult patientThe Tonic was so strong, I felt like I was swishing hot sauce! I could see red oil floating inside the liquid in the bottle which was probably the culprit. I did get blisters on my mouth from using it and struggled to continue. I'm allergic to cinnamon oil which gives me blisters on my mouth so, I determined that was the red oil. I even used the dropper but it still gave me blisters. I looked awful while going thru this experimentation. One day, my entire mouth blew up and that oil burned my sore gum and I got mouth ulcers. It was pretty painful for a week.After my mouth healed, I decided to put the Tonic in some water and that helped by diluting the oil I suppose.Then viola, the problem gum around that molar was healed so, the battle with that fire oil was worth it! I also noticed that the oil wasn't in the solution anymore and I had only used 1/2 a bottle. So, I can continue to use it straight up without water because it's very tame and has no floating oil.I just went for my cleaning and my hygienist has no idea I didn't use Peridex but she was happy to see my gum problem healed. She also didn't question why my teeth weren't green either. Another benefit from the Tonic was that there wasn't anything for her to scrape off under my entire gums. I did start using Smilex ultrasonic toothbrush so, I'm giving that some of the credit along with Tooth & Gums Tonic.

I've been using this product for a few years. At first, I was buying it at my natural medicine doctor's office and then when I found out that Amazon carried it, I kept on ordering it from the platform. Previously, I used mouthwash products that always left a weird taste in my mouth and honestly, some of them, were also damaging my gums. This is an overall great item for both gums and teeth. My dentist approves it 100% as one of the best products out there too!

This product is fantastic highly recommended by my dentist and it's alcohol free. Expensive but worth the price

My teeth were very sensitive and thedental hygenist who recommended the product told me my gums had receded. After a week or so, they were no longer sensitive.If you follow the directions to a t, this will work for you.Beware, there is a very strong tingling sensation in your mouth.

This product is amazing. I have struggled with my teeth and sinuses for as long as I can remember. This helps me breath through my nose again. My gums and teeth have also improved since using this tonic. Thank you

This helped me out but it’s so expensive not sure why ???does not last long for the amount you are getting

I have been using this product for many years, ever since my biological dentist took me off of Fluoride treatments and toothpaste. It is strong so only a small amount is needed but it really keeps the gums and teeth healthy.

Tastes good - extremely small bottle. Not sure if it’s effective yet probably not enough to know for sure.
