This glass is definitively a red wine glass with the large bowl. But, I do plan to drink white wine out of these glasses. Some of the reviewer photos show that the glass sides go straight up, but the photos are deceiving. There is a nice, rounded bowl shape to this glass. The glasses all arrived intact and none broke in the dishwasher after the first cleaning. I am hopeful that these will be sturdy, as I am using them in a rental property. None of the reviews showed broken glasses, which is a great sign! Glasses look "classy". Good quality and appearance for the price.

I've purchased the Bormioli red wine glasses over the past 10 years, and they were a great value at anywhere between $13 and $22 - but now they've jumped to $36.62. I tried this brand and can find absolutely no difference whatsoever in size, thickness, quality or shape. They're perfect and still a good value @ 23.99. Packaged carefully and arrived next day.

I bought these wine glasses after reading many good reviews. I was very pleased how nice these glasses are. Lovely shape, nice weight, feels more expensive than they are; and does not feel like a machine made glass. What I'm most pleased with though is the company customer service. So not long after having these glasses I unfortunately knocked one over and it broke. I was so upset because I really love these wine glasses. I went back on Amazon to re-purchase but they were out of stock. They come in a set of 4. So, I reached out directly to the company through their website. I was chatting with a customer rep over text and told them my dilemma. They were so pleasant and told me that they would send a replacement within 3 weeks time when they should be back in stock. It's now about 3 weeks later and to my surprise I received a package not knowing what it was. When I opened it up I realized it was from the manufacturer, but the box looked bigger than what a single glass would fit in. To my surprise they sent me 4, not 1 brand new wine glass, all individually wrapped in bubble. I truly was blown away. This is beyond my expectations and I have to say a lovely experience. Well pleased with the glasses. Just as described and even better. Felt good in the hand as they were not flimsy. Nice and big for red wine. Had a glass of red wine in them yesterday and the glasses completed the experience.
