This is a NICE hammer... I was one of those people who could never justify paying this much for a hammer- Come on, It's just a big hunk of metal on the end of a stick, isn't it? Well- After reading reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I was wrong- It is worth every penny.First, the handle is great. A bit longer than any other hammer of this size that I've used. It is coated with a very durable rubber- It feels similar to a tire. This gives you a firm, secure grip. The balance is GREAT, it feels very comfortable in the hand.They claim the handle is unbreakable- And I believe it. It's tough!I can't wait 'till I have more to 'bash' with this thing to give it a real workout!

This Hammer is perfect for the car! This is exactly as described. It is very heavy duty and can be ran over by a car a few times and have zero damage to it. I had zero issues with the seller or with the product and I highly recommend this!!!

I am a welder and have abused this hammer almost daily for over a year. I absolutely love it. It is my go-to when I really need to beat the tar out of some uppity chunk of iron. One big concern when I bought it was how well the handle would resist weld spatter and grinding sparks, but the handle still shows no damage.Handle material is like car-tire rubber, with a spring steel core. Anti-vibe is very effective, and it's just grippy enough (slippery handles like wood and straight fiberglass take more effort to keep them from slipping out of a gloved hand. Grip helps both accuracy and endurance). Do note, though, that between the anti-vibe and the heavy handle, the head doesn't pop back up very high for repetitive hits. Great for one or three devastating whams; not the best for tasks like texturing, or maybe driving concrete stakes all day. Even then, if I could only have one 3# hammer, it would be my Wilton.

Worth the price great hammer

Good grip, weight distribution, love the added length of the 16" handle. Feels very secure in my hands, and solid connection to head and handle. Use it everyday as a auto tech.

It seemed a bit heavy at first. After using it for a few weeks, I feel more comfortable with it. Swings and hits well.
