Large is good for me. Definitely not roomy but longer than an average hoodie. It runs tight in the arms near the wrist but I think it’s worth it. Warm and functional. **Q: is it windproof?** A: No it is not. Most pullovers of this nature are designed to be insulation worn under a weather-proof outer layer (jacket). A windproof layer inside this sweater would make it heavier and and not as comfortable. You question what you just spent so much money on. The built in face mask and hood are extremely nice and add a sense of warmth to the product. I will most likely wear it every time I hunt for the face mask and hood. 50f and 9mph wind I wore the lightweight baselayers, this hoody and celcious midi jacket and was perfect.
