Review: A really good and solid seat - I never thought I'd be sitting here rising a review for a toilet seat but here we are. All I have to say is that this is well worth the money spent. I renovated our bathroom recently and the included toilet seat we were given was utter rubbish. It had a lot of play in every direction. When you sat down it would move side to side. You didn't feel secure at all. The lid would sort of cave if you sat on top of it. So I bought a new one. This one. And what a difference! It's hefty, the plastic feels really solid, no flexing at all. Installation was a breeze, the seat clips on easily. Removing it is very simple with the button underneath. There is not lateral wobble, I feel like this will last forever. The soft close is good too. Very silent and smooth. Only small grip is that it closes a bit slow for my liking. From fully open the seat and lid takes 7 and 10 seconds to go down fully respectively. I've dropped a star purely on that basis.

**Q: Can anyone tell me the measurement between the two fixing holes on the seat? (NOT the variable measurement between the holes in the toilet base)**
A: 11cm (centre to centre). The stems will adjust to around 2cm from the holes in the porcelain in either direction.

**Q: Two sets of product dimensions are given ‎53.85 x 39.62 x 6.86 cm and 435mm x360mm Which is correct? Thanks.**
A: Neither. The dimensions are wrong in the advert. I have the box with diagram in my hand. The seat is 450 x 360 x 52 (tapering down to 40)

**Q: There are contradictions over the seat dimensions, can you confirm exactly the overall measurements out of the box please?**
A: I make it 435x340 outer edges  - and 280x205 inner edges.

I never thought I'd be sitting here rising a review for a toilet seat but here we are. All I have to say is that this is well worth the money spent. I renovated our bathroom recently and the included toilet seat we were given was utter rubbish. It had a lot of play in every direction. When you sat down it would move side to side. You didn't feel secure at all. The lid would sort of cave if you sat on top of it. So I bought a new one. This one. And what a difference! It's hefty, the plastic feels really solid, no flexing at all. Installation was a breeze, the seat clips on easily. Removing it is very simple with the button underneath. There is not lateral wobble, I feel like this will last forever. The soft close is good too. Very silent and smooth. Only small grip is that it closes a bit slow for my liking. From fully open the seat and lid takes 7 and 10 seconds to go down fully respectively. I've dropped a star purely on that basis.

Moved house and this was a need. Really pleased with the quality of this item and it looks really nice. It feels safe and doesn’t move when you sit down. It feels really sturdy. When it came to cleaning it, the removal was so easy and a lot better than previous ones I have purchased. Highly recommended.
