Until you try these blades, you simply won't understand the differences. Staggering cut quality and speed. The assortment is good. I had a set of these from years ago that I threw in a drawer because they were "too short." It never occurred to me to press the armature down, but that works perfectly and speeds up the install. If you have a Craftsman, Porter Cable, or virtually any other mainstream tabletop scroll saw, these will almost certainly work. No pins, but they stay just fine with a good turn of the wrench. Then you saw and admire, saw and admire. Even the "course" blade cuts look polished from the work of the tiny pins. Discovering these (and finally figuring out that they DO fit my saw) is like finally using a razor after decades of shaving with a butter knife.

Blades cut very smoothly with no tear out. I have used them on very thin and thick wood, work well on varying thicknesses.

Very please with these Flying Dutchman blades. I did a lot of research and Flying Dutchman is the way to go for a quality blade that stays sharp and last a long time. I will not buy anything else.

I usually cut 1/4-1" Baltic Birch and solid pine and these work well.

I am new to scrolling. When I got my saw I tried blades from Lowe's. They seemed on. Several scroll saw sites recommend Flying Dutchman so I ordered these. The difference is amazing. These blades fly through the wood and leave a clean edge. They are also far less expensive per blade. Highly recommend.
