National Geographic Polished Stones and Crystals 2 Lb. Bulk Collection

I have a six-year-old and a three year-old, they both loved this. I have to warn you, it gets really messy so make sure to lay some cardboard or a sheet or some newspaper down underneath. This is now a go to for birthday gifts and I plan on doing this as an activity for my kids at the next birthday party for my kids. Also, make sure you have a spray bottle handy so you’re not there for an hour. You just keep saturating the clay and it will degrade so they can get to the gemstones faster.

I actually use these to add as little gifts for people. They’re not the highest quality, but they’re exactly what I need to use a part of my giveaways. There are a lot of different crystals in the box.

Nice selection of gem stones. I bought this set for my nieces as they are interested in looking for "pretty" stones. They spent a full afternoon sorting through and reading about each one. Very educational, I would recommend this as a rainey day activity.

Great learning tool. But it would be alot better if it came with more info about the rocks.

The stones are good sized and mostly tumbled. Smooth to the touch with good color. This box had more examples of quartz and tiger eye than some other stones. But overall a good variety to be had.

Wife had an empty vase, we used them to fill it up. Turned out to be very nice looking.

The box looks exactly as pictured. I just hope it says good as it seems inside the box.

These were a gift for my grandson; a nice and colorful assortment of rocks.

I purchased this set for my grandson who has shown a budding interest in geology as he’s learning about volcanoes, tectonic plates and the periods of time that we use to describe the evolution of the planet. I thought that it might be an idea to nurture his interest in a more tactile and physical activity by presenting him with this exciting mixture of gems and minerals and the identification chart and characteristics definitions contained there in. I also purchased a small magnifying glass and one with an ultraviolet sensor to aid in matching the gems to the images and descriptions in the charts. His response has been most encouraging and has also peaked the interest of his other siblings, cousins and friends. So, all good and positive and I might now find myself as the founder of a whole new society. The product itself, is good value for the money, well packaged, fully comprehensively designed with characteristics chart included. Delivered promptly and I was able to track it through every single step of the whole process.

In love with these, great deal, great product, price is great. Fun to go through all of the stones. I've bought 2 boxes so far and will be buying more soon

Granddaughter love it

Quite nice, the rocks and crystals are reasonable big and there is good variety. Nice if you are looking to complete or extend a kid's or starter mineral collection.

She was so excited when she opened this box. She ran circles around us and gave us many hugs. A huge success!! She is 5.
