I ordered the 3qt pot since my 2,5 pot burned with no repair. I have never heard of the Michelangelos cookware. The reviews were good. I will have to say this is an excellent pot in many ways. It has clear lid with steam escape. The shape is perfect and will cook many things. It cleaned like a Dream. I will order this brand again.

I have not had a chance to use the pots yet but they are attractive and appear to be good quality. Also they appear sturdy but not heavy. Hopefully the food will not stick.

It conducts heat better & faster than our old cookware. Handles stay cool when pans are hot. Easy to clean.

We purchased this set to go in our camper. We have an Induction cook plate and these plants work great on it. The handle is made from shaped sheet metal so feels a little flimsy, however it is well done and quite ergonomic. It doesn't look like the bottom of the handle is welded so there's a chance you could step on or drop the pot on its handle and it would deform. The clear glass cover has a vent hole which should help a little with boiling over. The bottoms of the pan feel like the thickest part but aren't too heavy. There's enough material there and evidently a layer of magnetic material so that it will work on all these cooked surfaces listed in the ad. It remains to be seen how well it will hold up if it's overheated or heated empty. I'll update my review if any damage comes. Since the entire pad is made of stainless. You could even use it over a cook fire, maybe without the glass lid. Doing so would of course cause it to have soot build up and get quiet dirty on the outside.

Excellent see stainless steel saucepans. Size is perfect, design is good, it acts like any normal stainless steel pot. It Heats evenly and can be used for a number of things. This is the pot for you if you accidentally burn spaghetti sauce into your wife's other pot and all the king of men all the kings horses and a fair number of people from Chicago cannot get it out.

Update: the lid knobs get extremely HOT, after burning my fingertips a couple of times I got replacement plastic knobs like my old set, for a couple of $ each, problem fixed. See pictures. I got this set to replace a Mayer set I got 35 years ago and one of the pieces got damaged...my fault. I was looking for the same brand, Mayer, but the sell the whole set and I just needed the sauce pans. So far no complaints, being a longtime user of stainless-steel cookware I know what certain foods do, for example beans and tomato-based sauces produce a discolouration and stains, nothing that the Lagostina SS cleaner will fix if you are obsessed with the appearance of your cookware. Some people keep asking where is manufactured: China, just check the labels on the box.
