I like it.
- Don't need hot water to rehydrate them can use normal tap water. - Made a really nice Korma with them. - The texture is the same as real meat. - Take 30 mins to fully rehydrate. - They are quite filling for one meal.

Highly recommended
Excellent source of vegan protein. Ready to eat with little cooking time. Have used it in curries and noodles. Highly recommended

Tasty!
These taste great - much better than your standard chunk of compressed soya flour (for me, anyway). Where they lose out to the standard chunk of compressed soya flour is that they lack the chew. So, great taste but texturally on the soft side. I've found the best results from squeezing them almost dry after the initial soaking, then hard-frying in a little oil and seasoning well. Either consume as a snack or add to dishes at the very last minute before they soak up too much moisture and go too soft.

Impressive taste
A game changer if you're trying to have more "vegan" options in your diet. Its very easy to cook, simply need to let it soak with boiling water and then drain it as much as you can. I then simply cook it on the pan with a bit of oil and let it completely cooked before adding any sauce. The texture is amazing, it almost tast like chicken.

Great replacement for Soy pieces
Wow, these are FANTASTIC. I'm reducing my soy consumption, and finally decided to give these a shot. They are better than soy chunks. The texture is beautiful, a great meat replacement, easy to prepare. Instant subscription.

Excellent "meat" substitute!
It's hard to find good meat substitutes for those who want food that looks somewhat like meat and has a similar texture but is vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free (my husband!). These are ideal! They rehydrate and cook up nicely. As we use them in "wet" food like stews, casseroles, or curries, rather than rehydrating in water as directed which gives a bland result, we rehydrate in stock, seasoned tomato juice, or diluted cooking sauce and add straight to the cooking pot once they've soaked long enough to fully rehydrate. Unlike soy there's no strong unpleasant taste so they take on the flavour of cooking sauces nicely. A useful store cupboard item.
