This was a gift for my brother, I just did the three burn offs to save him doing them. Compact and neat. I like this toaster, and when my current toaster dies (they tend to last 2 years these days), I will be buying one of these for myself. Feels good quality, the price is bearable compared to my current Russell toaster (£50), easy to clean (way better than having shiny stainless steel which drives me nuts), bit disappointed the box was battered but my brother won't mind that, as long as it toasts bread (which he said it did!), and the warming rack is a bonus. I have a few Bosch appliances and am pleased with all of them.

A proper toaster.
I bought this Bosch to replace a very cheap and useless toaster from a well known warehouse store. A world of difference; the Bosch works well, looks good and does a good job on various sizes and types of bread slices. All areas are toasted evenly. Reasonable price as well.

This toaster only works on LESS THAN the very first setting! - If the toaster is left on the first setting it creates the toast entirely. If you set it a touch before, you have to push it down twice-but is perfectly brown..... Second different style of toaster I ordered from different places, it seems the manufacturing of toasters and the testing of them, has gone right down hill. Decided to accept this one, as at least the toast is toasted and not actually raw, like some.

Browns the toast ok
I'd class this as a no-nonsense easy to use toaster that just browns bread on both sides ok. If that's what your after then it will perform ok. Not sure about the designline title, no go faster stipes or anything, should be called simpleline!
