Are these easily slipped on?

I wear a 9 1/2 shoe. I got a 10 and I put them on with thick wool socks. They stretch to put on easily but are snug in the ankle and heel with a roomy toe area. Very comfortable. I did put an arch support in as I have a high instep.

Going to Alaska in September, wondering if anyone hasxan idea if these would work for that type of environment?

I would imagine fine! I use my at a barn all day!

I wear a 9W or 9.5regular width and I have bunions; what size do you recommend?

I wear these with crew socks and find them true to size. There is no flex in rubber and the toe box isn't wide. So if I expected to wear these with bunion issues, I'd select a wide width.
