Not fuchsia or pinkish in color, but a genuine purple, better than the color shown in the picture. The flower itself is sturdier than most other sets also,. And the battery is replaceable, as other brands are now selling lights with built-in batteries, which means they're usually trash to begin with. These lights are great. I've had other brands that have lasted 3-4 years (after replacing that awful green battery w/ Panasonic's eneloop) but many that say they're purple, aren't as true to purple as these! Hope they last.
