Solid, Responsive, and Perfect for Ampero
The Hotone Dual Footswitch Pedal works exactly as expected with my Ampero setup. Both footswitches are very responsive and provide a clear, tactile click without feeling mushy. The momentary action is perfect for toggling effects or switching presets, and I haven’t experienced any lag or missed signals. Build quality is excellent for the size—sturdy metal construction that feels durable and road-ready. The dual design is compact but practical, giving full control without taking up unnecessary pedalboard space. Setup was simple and intuitive, and it integrates seamlessly with the Ampero system. Overall, this is a reliable, well-built footswitch for anyone using Ampero or similar multi-effects setups. Solid performance at a reasonable price.

Great value for adding footswitches to the Line6 HX Stomp
Works perfect with the Stomp. It's metal, but bent sheet metal construction, so it is pretty light, but works really well. It comes with adhesive to stick it down, which I think I'll eventually have to do when I make it a permanent part of my pedalboard, but it works fine just sitting on the carpet right now. It does move around a bit being so light, but I can always find it, and it always works. Switches themselves are decent quality momentary switches, but lack the heavy thunk of a really expensive unit, but still feel nicer than I expected on such a cheap piece of gear. As a bonus, it comes with a cable that most people charge almost as much as this whole pedal for. Easily the best value for adding two more switches to the Stomp, making it much more versatile.

Works with TC Flashback 2!
TLDR; This PEDAL works 100% with the TC Electronic Flashback 2 Delay External Tap Tempo feature!! If like me you want to be able to tap in tempo to the Flashback 2 and also not have to hold down the Flashback's switch for 2 seconds to get into tap tempo mode, then you can use this pedal instead. Make sure you have the latest Flashback 2 firmware installed (vers. 1.2.00) then go into the Toneprint software and open any template Go to edit (Pencil icon in the upper right), click on the last tab "Product Settings" and turn on External Tap feature. Plug the Ampero Switch into the Stereo input of the Flashback (the Lower jack on the input side) with the provided TRS cable and tap the "B" button to set tempo. "B" button is designed to connect Ring and Sleeve on the TRS cable which is what the Flashback 2 is looking for. If you want to have a blinking light on the pedal that matches tempo, turn off the MASH feature on the Product Settings page as well. It works! And it doesn't cost $46.00 and you didn't have to create a custom cable or open the pedal to set dip switches, etc. You're welcome, Enjoy!

Quality Construction and works with Ampero Mini
This thing is small, and perfect as a compliment to the Ampero mini. I own footswitches from line 6, boss, and digitech. The quality of the housing and switches are top notch, this should hold up to heavy use. The free cable is nice, but on the cheap side. But it works, I would upgrade that if you are giggin out. This pedal really expands the switching options on the Ampero mini, taking you from 2 assignable footswitches to 4. I ended up leaving the preset up and down on the mini, and used this footwitch for FX on/off and looper screen on/off. But you can mix and match ctrl any way you want. Game changer if you own the mini.

Good for effect changes on the Boss MS3
Great little footswitch. I use it with my Boss MS3 to turn on/off two different effects per patch (the effects are different each patch). Got it for a deal on Prime day. To set it, plug it into one of the Control 1/2 or 3/4 TRS plugs. Push the "Edit" button on the MS3, and use the left most knob to scroll to the very end to "CTL". Push the "enter" button. Use the left most knob to scroll to the "U"-shaped icons that say CTLIN1 thru CTLIN4. The A button controls 1 (or 3), and the B button controls 2 (or 4) depending on which TRS input you used. Push the Enter button to assign the value. The left most knob will assign the function to the switch. Rotate the left most knob to scroll through effects to turn on/off. Usually the other two settings are fine as is, unless you want the Delay tap tempo, then you might want to set the button to momentary. Push Exit/Enter to write the function to the patch. Unfortunately this is a process that you have to do for each patch in each bank. I downloaded the MS3 editor onto my computer to make these changes while the MS3 was plugged in via USB. Unfortunately this pedal does not do the bank up/down feature as the latching function is inverse to the Boss wiring. If you do assign it to bank, you will see the values scroll indefinitely. Make sure you do not remove the OEM configuration of 1+2 to bank down and 3+4 to bank up because this (or shutting off the unit) are likely the only way to get it to stop scrolling. This unit also cannot be disassembled as the nuts are a proprietary lock-nut design. I bought another <$30 overseas pedal that had a regular 1/2" nut on it and they are PC boards on the inside (probably the same with this one), so even if you could get into this one, you can't just rewire it without tweaking a pc board. So if you need the bank up/down feature just buy the Boss FS-6 or FS-7 and save yourself a headache. It comes with the TRS cable (I believe it is 3' long) so this is plug and play.

Works great with Boss RC500
Wanting to add some extra controls to my RC500 looper, I looked at the options from Boss and found two things; that their FS6/7 foot switches are equally oversized and overpriced. That sent me seeking a more compact and reasonably priced alternative, which led me to the Ampero Switch. First this thing feels very well built. Heavy metal enclosure and switches seem like they will be durable. The included cable is adequate, if a little cheap feeling. Functionality is exactly what is expected, two normally open, momentary switches. By adding these to the RC500 I can now control the start or stop of the rhythm and also change variations on the fly to create a much more active background track. If there is any downside, it’s that it doesn’t have any LED indicators, but as long as you can live without them, this is a great foot switch for the buck.

High quality - solid! 🪨
This is an excellent switch! I ordered another one that I didn't like nearly as much. This one feels very high quality. The switches seem very sturdy and the springs and it feel really strong. The size is excellent, putting the switches far enough apart to be really useful. The housing is really solid and gorgeous. It has two very nice rubber feet on the bottom that feel like they won't come off very easily. It also comes with a strip of Velcro if you want to stick it on to something. I'm using it with my line 6 HX stomp XL and it works perfectly. I had to change some stuff in the global settings to make the effects processor work the way I wanted, but it was easy. It also comes with a TRS cable (not the one pictured), which I didn't realize. Well done! A fantastic switch all around.

Ampero mini

Tanta roba
