This Hot Shot Ant, Roach & Spider Killer works exactly as described. It kills on contact and is effective for ants, roaches, and spiders both indoors and outdoors. We appreciate that it’s unscented, which makes it much easier to use inside the house without leaving a strong chemical smell behind. The spray works quickly, and the 2-pack is a good value for the price. The cans arrived promptly and were well packaged. As someone who hates spiders (particularly the thick wolf ones in the pnw) and is also in the lower 5’ range I often find myself in a standoff with spiders who have climbed up my wall to where I can’t reach. Just one little spritz of this knocks them off the wall and kills then pretty quick. Immediately after it hits them it also subdues the spider so I am able to manually squish it after it hits the ground quick. As much as I don’t like spiders I don’t want them dying a prolonged poison death if avoidable. It smells ok, it’s pretty strong but it’s not awful and it does vaguely smell of linen — I mean it’s literally an insect poison, it’s not gonna smell like nothing. For ~$5 it’s a great deal and it does what it says it will (at least on the spider front). It’s easy to use and a good item to have in any home.

It works on the little spiders all over the screen room

When you are dealing with bugs, you do not want to run out halfway through treating the house and have to make another trip to the store. This can has enough product to handle a serious job and still have plenty left over for follow up applications or spot treatments. The spray works fast. Hit a bug and it is done within seconds. I have used it on ants, roaches, and spiders and it drops them all quickly. No waiting around wondering if the spray actually did anything. You see the results immediately which is satisfying when you are battling an infestation. The residual protection is useful too. Spray along baseboards, around entry points, and in corners where bugs like to travel. It creates a barrier that keeps killing for a while after application. Bugs that cross through those treated areas later still get hit. It is not just a contact killer, it keeps working. The spray nozzle gives good control over where the product goes. You can do a wide spray for larger areas or a more targeted stream for cracks and crevices. That versatility matters when you are trying to treat different situations around the house.
