Review: Great driving lights - I was going to buy Cibie's, but they are extremely difficult to source and I've heard they don't last. While the Hella are sold by pretty much any vendor and parts are available. The electrical connectors are also easy to find, just search for "timer interconnect" on Digikey or mouser (but they're included). I would've bought the Hella 3003 with plastic housings instead, but they were priced the same. These are very very sturdy units and I love the matte finish. I could not find any comparison between these and the free form reflector (clear lens) so I bought both and made a comparison, side-by-side. The euro beam is pretty narrow, which would be better for long range, while the FF gives a broader beam and a weird cutoff. That said, I don't think there's a better one, depends on what you need. In fact, I will probably keep one of each, even if they will look a bit odd. The pictures were taken just after I adjusted my headlamps, so the spots are 25 feet away and you can see the tape lines I have used to aim my headlights. The only complaint I have is that the packaging was very poor, they came in the retail box (almost falling apart) and I had to return one that did not have the accessories included. The replacement one had a slightly warped rock shield... but the lights were intact. ## Features - Advanced halogen lighting performance in a state-of-the-art lamp that features a robust, black powder coated zinc die-cast housing with red accent ring for the maximum in durability and reliability - High-quality tempered glass lens and knurled adjustment knobs for fast lamp adjustment without the need for special tools.Watts:55 - 9.19 inch high x 8.75 inch wide x 6.38 inch diameter - Single lamp includes H1 12V/100W bulb, white stone shield with HELLA logo, and mounting hardware but requires wiring harness, sold separately - International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0002M9T30 | | Auto Part Position | Rear | | Automotive Fit Type | Universal Fit | | Best Sellers Rank | 624,325 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 1,628 in Car Headlight Assemblies | | Brand | HELLA | | Brand Name | HELLA | | Colour | White | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 58 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00760687748076 | | Included Components | Light Bulb | | Is Assembly Required | No | | Item Dimensions | 28.5 x 25 x 16 centimetres | | Item Type Name | Light Bulb | | Item Weight | 5 Pounds | | Lens Color | Clear | | Lens Material | Glass | | Light Source | Halogen | | Light source type | Halogen | | Manufacturer | Hella | | Manufacturer Part Number | H12560021 | | Model Number | H12560021 | | Model Year | 1997 | | Model year | 1997 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | OEM Equivalent Part Number | H12560021 | | Part Interchange Info | H12560021 | | Set Name | 1 | | Special Features | Waterproof | | Specific Uses For Product | Rear Lights | | Specific uses for product | Rear Lights | | UPC | 760687748076 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | | Vehicle service type | Car | | Voltage | 12 Volts | | Wattage | 55 watts | ## Product Details - **Auto part position:** Rear - **Brand:** HELLA - **Colour:** White - **Light source type:** Halogen - **Model year:** 1997 - **Special feature:** Waterproof - **Specific uses for product:** Rear Lights - **Vehicle service type:** Car - **Voltage:** 12 Volts - **Wattage:** 55 watts ## Images ![H12560021 Rallye 4000 Series 12V/55W Halogen Euro Beam Lamp - Black Housing, White - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81FwqNHJlbL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the beam pattern?** A: The pattern is, as it reads, “EURO BEAM” This type of beam is a sort of compromise between “Driving Beam” ( straight narrow highway beam) and a “Fog /Flood Beam” (less long distance penetration but more wide concentration for illuminating the immediate area in front and sides of road) The EURO BEAM is deeper reaching distance and also spreads to the sides, so neither a narrow penetrating beam with no spreading nor a wide spread beam with no depth A very good beam that has it all If you want specific patterns the you would need (for depth and only narrow road illumination) a Pencil Beam or Driving Beam For only concentrated power in a wide but close area, Fog or Flood pattern **Q: This is a complete light right ?** A: Yes a single lamp, mounting hardware, stone guard and piggy back wire. ( not relay harness) **Q: where is this made?** A: Hella is a German company I believe **Q: Will this work on a fj80 land cruiser?** A: Hi! I had to return the lights, they were to deep (lens to back of case) to mount on my Safari Rack. I liked them, but check your figment. If you have depth on your mount, then Yes, I would recommend. I like the look of Hella, well know and fits the look for my old Range Rover. I bought a different set of lights, also Hella. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can’t go wrong with Hellas *by A***R on 25 November 2025* Husband has these on our Taco’s ARB, loves them other than them seeming to fog up a little on the inside on humid days m. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great driving lights *by F***B on 12 April 2017* I was going to buy Cibie's, but they are extremely difficult to source and I've heard they don't last.
