I’m in my peri-menopause phase and started having itchy scalp. Never had issue with my scalp before, so it took me a while to figure out what was causing it. This serum helped relieve the itch especially during sleep. So it works for me who have imbalance hormones leading to dry scalp. The scent isn’t overwhelming, so although I’m not very fond of it, it doesn’t bother me.

I have a pretty vast graveyard of dandruff/psoriasis/excema targeted shampoos and conditioners that didn't work or made my scalp worse. By the time I broke down and spent the money on this serum my scalp was in pretty bad shape and affecting my every day. I've never had a product do what this did. I used it as a leave in for 3 nights in a row while combing my scalp every morning after. The first day I was floored. The second day got even more and the third day I combed twice and both times I got an absurd amount of scales off my scalp. I took plenty of progress photos of what I was getting off my comb but it's so much I feel people would be grossed out so I won't post them. I only knock a star because it's not an affordable option for me to use all the time. I pretty much blew through the bottle in 3 applications. Not sustainable for my budget. Hoping once I get my scalp under control with this I can use it once every two weeks for maintenance. I washed my hair after the 3rd day of treatments and I can now feel what I believe to be my scalp skin. Usually it's very scaly and not smooth at all even after a shower.

After a couple weeks this stuff has given me a new scalp. It rejuvenates my scalp and hair every time I use it. It doesn’t leave it oily at all. I have relatively thick and wavy hair that I used to go three to four days without washing and now I can easily go 5 days. I used to get bad itching after sweating at the gym (the sweat would dry and create irritation) and even that has subsided. I can only speak for my experience but this stuff is absolutely worth the money. Easy to apply. The smell is nice but very subtle. So glad I went for it. I’m sure I will be purchasing other Jupiter products in the future.

I had been curious to try out this serum, along with the matching shampoo and conditioner combo, to address an oily scalp. On Jupiter's website, they say you should start to see improvements after a week or two. My scalp is now extremely itchy and even more oily than when I began using the system three weeks ago. The serum is easy to apply and makes a nice tingling sensation after application. It stops the itching for an hour or two, but then the itchiness gets extremely intense. This system *caused* the itchiness. I wouldn't not recommend it if you have sensitive skin. The worst part is their 30-day money back guarantee only applies to products purchased on Jupiter's website—not to products purchased on Amazon.
