Semi Permanent Hair Color, 190 Cotton Candy, 4 Fl Oz | Vegan & Cruelty-Free Pink Hair Dye | No Ammonia, No Peroxide, No Alcohol

Surprisingly good color! Took a gamble and I was happy with the color from this! Not super long lasting but better than I expected as I’ve never used this brand. I diluted the color in conditioner and got exactly what I wanted out of it!

I'm a massive fan of all things retro, as well as anything neon. I've been on the hunt for years to find a bold pink to fit my personality, and I've tried nearly every major brand out there (Xmondo, Ion, Arctic Fox, Manic Panic, Lunar Tides, Iroiro... You name it!) One day I just happened to be browsing on Amazon when I stumbled upon Adore and the shade Neon Pink. With the price tag, I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I thought I'd give it a whirl. The second that dye hit my bleached head, I absolutely knew this stuff was gonna be BRIGHT... and I was so stoked! While it isn't advertised as UV reactive, it very much is, as you can see from my blacklight pic. As far as the dye itself... It has a nice, light and subtle scent. The formula has a more gel like consistency, which makes it much easier to apply without making a horrendous mess! My hair is right above my shoulders and very, very thick (think lion's mane), and one 4oz bottle easily does my whole head. I always buy the double pack so I can mix a little dye into my conditioner. Also, I personally dye my hair once a month because I like to keep it super bright...but honestly, I could probably get away with not coloring it for several months and it would still be vibrant. So, if you're looking for an exceptionally bright, long-lasting Neon Pink...this is definitely the brand for you! However, if you're the type that likes to change your hair up every few weeks, DO NOT use this stuff...only go for Adore if you're ready to commit to the pink!

Works great for a very pale pink on bleached blonde hair. The exact color of real cotton candy. I tried getting it a bit darker by using a lot and heating it with a blow dryer. Also tried leaving it on until it dried naturally. In both cases, it did not darken, but stayed very pale, which is what I bought if for, but wanted to see if I could get a darker pink when I'm in the mood.

This was such a bummer on multiple levels. First of all the main thing was as the title of the review stated, it simply didn't work for me at all. And I REALLY tried to make it work, I tried doing it myself and I thought maybe I just hadn't been thorough enough so I had my cousin try it on me also and she was VERY thorough, I definitely left it on long enough too. The first time when I tried myself I followed directions on the bottle exactly, I shampooed first as instructed even though I found it a bit odd as usually they tell you to use dye on dirty hair. But I figured I'd just follow the directions. Then I covered my hair in the dye and put a shower cap over it and blow dryed it for 15 minutes as instructed. But it left absolutely no color on me. It did however ruin 2 towels, a bathrobe and left a permanent pink stain on my floor that I didn't catch in time. Aside from not working this stuff is MESSY!!! I mean it was sliding off my head so fast and going absolutely everywhere! When my cousin tried it on me I left it on for even longer (30 min) and she blew dry my head directly but still absolutely nothing. My last complaint about it is the color itself, from the bottle I was expecting like a cotton candy pink but it was actually bright magenta! Maybe it works for some people but not me. Btw my main objective aside from wanting pink hair was to color my grays and obviously that didn't happen! Very disappointed 😞

It you have medium to long hair or it is thick, be sure to get the 2 pack. The bottles are small and it's like a gel consistency. My hair is just past my shoulders and pretty thick and I could get it all covered with 1 bottle, but had to do a second process because it didn't take well the first time. A lot of the bleach blonde still showed, but after the second round it looks good. I love the light pink Cotton Candy look.

I don't have a before picture but my hair was bleached and then toned to a very platinum silvery blonde. Then I used two bottles of cotton candy and a couple drops of pink Blush diluted with a tiny bit of conditioner. Dyed all over. Set with a shower cap and blew hot air into the cap with blow dryer on medium heat for maybe 10 minutes. Then let sit for 10 more minutes and washed out. My kids love it but it didn't exactly turn out how I had hoped. Wanted a more dusty cotton candy color but some spots dyed really well and some didnt. I have spots of blonde still in the length of my hair but my roots turned out beautiful. Can't speak to the longevity of it yet. So far I've washed twice and hasn't changed at all. I would say if your a serious colorist and love trying crazy colors that stick, show up and last for blondes, maybe try another product but it you're not too serious about it and just wanna play around with something different for a week or two then this perfect. Maybe for kids who wanna dye their hair a color without all the harsh chemicals and the smell. Oh and speaking of smell.. this has NO bad scent what so ever. I think it actually smells pretty pleasant. And my hair also didn't feel stringy after dye like ones with chemicals. It was really soft and almost like my normal no dye hair even after prosessing with bleach. Overall.. I would say decent. Not amazing. But definitely worth the price.

Easy to use semi permanent hair color. Leave on for 15 minutes. Has a sweet smell. The colorant is a jelly texture. Leaves hair with a light pink color. I started with naturally black hair that was bleached twice. I then colored with this dye twice. The remaining color is a nice light pink but my copper undertones are still showing even though I’ve applied toner prior to using this hair color. I don’t blame the dye for the undertones.

Perfectly pink, the product is a gel consistency and goes on very bright. My hair is bleached to a level 9 and this is it rinsed out. I won't comment on longevity at this stage as pink washes out the fastest of any colour I've used. If it does hang about longer then I'll update. Very happy

Farba bardzo trudna do nałożenia. Kolor miał być cotton candy, pudrowy róż, a po pofarbowaniu wyszedł neonowy.
