Great pricepoint for quality Escoda watercolor Perla brushes
These Escoda Perla brushes are wonderful, and used by many well known watercolor artists. Great points and good for more detailed areas. The pricepoint for 3 very usable sizes (8, 10, 12), with the 10 being a travel brush, was great! Love Escoda!

Absolutely worth every cent!
Of course, this bush holds a lot of water, has a razor sharp toe, and has a big, fat belly, making it ideal for doing amazing dry brush techniques...it's an Escoda. This brush is soft enough for doing perfect glazes without disturbing the underneath paint layers, but NOT so soft that controlling contour and directional strokes feels clumsy. Effortless handling because it's balanced and very well constructed. This is my go to brush when I choose to firmly press an area to bruise the paper when making darker watercolor marks.

Irregular sizing of brush handles
They appear to be authentic brushes. They are very soft. Packaged well. One thing is that the brushes differ is sizes. The round 6 is shorter than the round 4. And the round 10 feels so long like a long handle brush.
