Love this drive, but the game pass code doesn’t work at all; contacted the seller and they have not gotten back to me. Just beware of that if you buy this for the game pass to not work.

Almost perfect! Does everything it claims to, but i still had some hopes for more. Connection wise, works on the second time you plug it in, the application automatically launches and asks you if you want to use it for games or apps and music. Works pretty quick, although the 500mb per sec is notably slower than the series X’s 2.4 gigs per sec limit, so it doesn’t really work for most new games. but older games and apps are perfect for this drive. I bought a used one, which only had 1.8tb of storage when it was supposed to be 2tb… but i suppose being not a new one i can get over it, so marginal data loss. Summary, a rugged shelled, overcompensating hard drive that does exactly what WD says it should and absolutely nothing else. if you’re wanting to download games to this and transfer it console to console, you need a seagate 2tb or more which is like over the price of a series s by itself. But if you’re just wanting some spare space and don’t mind shuffling your games around slowly for robust storage capacity, look no further. The 6tb strikes me as a bargain and a ton of storage in one spot.

Happy with the storage capacity, 6TB is more than I've ever had so far. It was easy to connect and install and I like the software they included the check on the health of your drives (I can even use it to check my main drive as well since apparently it's the same brand!). Transfer speed is pretty decent for a regular hard-drive like this. Don't expect SSD speeds from it and you'll be happy. I use it to store large video files. I wouldn't recommend using this to load programs and games off of, that kind of task should be exclusively for an SSD preferably connected internally. Very good value for the money.

Will not play S or X games from the hard drive. Yes, It tells you that but I didn't read it. However, WD makes an expansion card for $240+ bucks. But make sure you don't make the mistake I did!

Does the job and a bargain at $133 for 4TB!

Il permet des transferts rapides, depuis ma Xbox Series S, jusqu'à un peu plus de 800 MO/S. Pour les jeux des anciennes Xbox, ont les lance depuis ce tout petit HDD, sans problème, il n'y a rien a redire, c'est parfait.
