the week before last i bought 3 of these 6.39,6.50 and 6.59.would like to purchase more but the price changes 2/3 times a day. now 9.99.why?

I am seeing that on multiple Amazon items - prices doubling or more. I expect it is lack of supply and Amazon prioritizing certain items due to COVID-19.

Description says lip depth 1 1/4". Customer comments say less than 1". How thick of an object can this actually hold, please?

It holds 3 CD cases easily, they measure 1 3/16" combined, 1 1/4" is probably max.

Can this stand bend to adjust the angle? Also would an iPad air with a thick case fit in it?

It won't bend to change the angle, but I believe an Ipad air with a thick case will fit on it.
