But when the first month was coming to an end the previous company wanted to charge me £5 per month more than what I paid for the 1st month. So I shopped around and got this deal with onecall. If they don’t try and hike their rates I may well stay with them. Popped the sim card into my 4g router, followed the set up instructions that came with it, and onecall activated it very quickly! It was up and running within 30 mins! (Tuesday morning). Very simple and efficient procedure. Tried it at 2 different addresses, 15 miles apart. Address 1, where download speeds weren’t brilliant, but done the job. Was getting between 4mbps and 20mbps. Albeit we were experiencing some bad storms. Never seemed to affect my internet usage including my streaming of now tv. Next morning 5.30am I was getting faster speeds of around 55mbps. But it slowed down again during peak times. Address 2 (and where it will mainly remain for the time being). (Storms had ended by the time it was used at address 2). Speeds were much faster, always between 30mbps and 85mbps. My mobile phone is o2 so I decided to use o2 for the router. I wanted to try it first before entering into a contract so I ordered this 30 day unlimited data sim. The SIM card was received but didn’t include a telephone number and without the number, I can’t activate the SIM card. So far I have spent over 6 hours trying to activate it and talking to a bot on the o2 website. My advice is , unless onecall provide a number with the SIM card. Don’t buy this item.
