It will continue to soften as the caftan is worn and laundered. I have several other caftans made of a like maternal. I am ordering a few more in different colors as I usually sleep in caftans also. This one is going to go well with leggings All around a well made garmet Now if someone could tell me how to get the over seas container stink out of it quicker as it can not be bleached. Garment only containers do not stink but all of the others do.

Beautiful color and decoration. Wish it had been made from a more woven-type material. The material feels like thin sheeting. But I get lots of compliments and it is very comfortable.
