GM Genuine Parts A/C Clutch Cycle Switches are designed, engineered, and tested to rigorous standards, and are backed by General Motors. These A/C clutch cycle switches are component sensors that monitor the evaporator temperature and pressure. The switch turns the compressor clutch field coil off and on. When the pressure and temperature are too low, the compressor is switched off. Review: 2003 Cadillac Escalade - This is the original equipment part for the vehicle. I do not know why it said it would NOT fit my vehicle when in fact it does. I installed it and it fixed the cycling compressor issue.
