Ayr Saline Nasal Gel, With Soothing Aloe, 0.5 Ounce Tube (Pack of 1)

So, I have ordered the 'Ayr' saline gel spray (and love it); then decided to order this 'Ayr' saline nasal gel (with soothing aloe). I like that this tube came in a sealed box, and the tube is totally sealed upon receiving. To open, you use the cap to puncture through the foil protective film. This is a decent sized tube (0.5 ounce), and a little bit goes a long way. This gel is thick, but absorbs well into the skin; there's no greasy feeling, and no stickiness either. I use a q-tip to help directly apply the gel into my nose; I feel relief from dryness within minutes. I like that I can not only use this for my nostrils, but also use for dry/sore areas around my nose (such as what may come from frequent tissue use). This gel has been truly helpful for my needs. I have allergies, as well as frequent sinus issues; this leaves my nose feeling so sore and dry (at times). This gel works wonders for me, and could be helpful for other purposes too (like CPAP or oxygen users). I am very satisfied with this product, and happy with how better my nose feels. Since this gel is super thick, and goes a long way; I do think this is a good value for the price point (currently listed at around $3.62). It's also nice that this product is FSA approved, which may be of importance to some. I definitely can recommend this product, and would order again.

This saline gel works wonderfully for keeping my nasal passages moisturized and comfortable. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t feel greasy, and provides lasting relief from dryness and irritation. A little goes a long way, and I’ll definitely keep buying it.

So I have never ever ever had issues with dry nose or nasal scabbing. But randomly out of nowhere my septum/mucous membrane area started bleeding on and off in my right nostril, then suddenly in my left. And eventually the entire area on both sides became horribly scabbed, one side even developed an ulcer. My nose was constantly bleeding and raw and the scabs would not heal. So I got this along with the arm & hammer daily care nasal spray. I first spray the arm & hammer in each nostril, then apply the Ayr saline gel with a q-tip to both sides morning and night. It was instantly soothing, and within a couple weeks the scabs were fully healed. I do feel like if I stopped using it, they may come back. So im going to continue on doing this from now on or until I dont think its necessary anymore. I cant say out of the two which one is helping the most, or if the combination of the two together is what helped. But this feels very hydrating, and soothing, and anytime ive used the arm & hammer alone it doesnt feel as effective as it does when I use both together! So if you have the same issue maybe try the same combination, it helped me a ton!

Update: I just wanted to say this should retail for *no more than* four dollars. There are other places still selling it for a reasonable price, and where I just stocked up with multiple tubes in case they follow suit. I mention this because I just came to repurchase, and here they've increased the price to almost nine dollars. So, shop around. Or don't. You do you. I wish I had known about this sooner. That discomfort/burning deep up in my nose was instantly soothed - honestly, a miracle. I thought I'd only need this for when our wood burning stove is constantly going (our only heat), but we got a warm (not hot) spell out of nowhere and it zapped the humidity for some reason (my room hygrometer read 27% - yikes!) even though I'm near the coast. Last night I was sort of distracted by my nose, not thinking too much about it but being super aware of it, then I remembered I had this! Immediate relief. I saw someone say you need to use this consistently for it to work - that wasn't true for me. I literally used this once last night and my nose feels amazing this morning (humidity is only at 33%), which is why I felt compelled to write a review. (I also can't "taste" the scent, nor do I have a fresh feeling in my mouth, so you might not either.) So, why not 5 stars then? Well, I don't give 5 stars easily anyway...but this would have gotten it if it didn't smell like rose at first (or if they had mentioned it somewhere). I really, really do not like rose (or vanilla; I know - shock!), but this at least smells natural and goes away very quickly. I'm not sure where it's coming from, the ingredients list doesn't elude to anything that should be fragrant, so I'm confused. I'll still repurchase since it honestly works so well. The tube has a foil seal that you puncture with the lid rather than peel off. And they use a box twice the size that's necessary; I wish they'd just sell a 2-pack.

I have been using this AYR cream for about four years now and it works great for sores in the nose and also good for dry nose. I purchased many times. It’s very effective good value for the money no skin irritation.

Nobody tells you that when you get the menopause, your nose dries up. You hear about other things that dry up, but your nose? C’mon. I’ve tried the saline mists but they just run right back out again. Petroleum jelly and coconut oil both resulted in those agonizing zits that sprout up inside your nostrils. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this tiny tube of miracles. Oh, the relief!!! I just put a teeeeny bit on a cotton swab and swirl it around in each nose hole. Not all the way up. It’s not a covid test. Just the part where you used to put your finger up when you were a kid. (Let’s face it, a lot of you probably still do. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t occasionally, behind closed doors.) I use it in the morning and before bed, and my nose feels like that of a fruitful young woman again. I can’t say the rest of me feels that way, but that’s why my nightstand looks like a pharmacy. Anyways. If you take antihistamines, use a CPAP, or are just starting to naturally turn into a prune like yours truly, I highly recommend this product.

I will buy this over and over. It took a second to get use to the smell but it’s lightweight and immediately makes my noise feel more moisturized and at ease. Consistency is like a light gel that’s not sticky. Was fine for me.

This was so soothing on a very red sore nose with a cold. It smelt a lovely light aloe vera smell and was so gentle. This I would definitely buy again. Soothing and calming. 10/10 Would be great for people in hospital when they wear oxygen prongs, would be soothing.

Excellent for dry nose

My nose was so sore and had scabs after bad hay-fever and im sorry to say picking it with false nails on. I just couldn't help myself. I bought this ans within 2 days wow it's totally better! Thank you!
