Simple amp / cab simulator pedal
This pedal is just what I was looking for. I didn't want one of those complicated processors with hundreds of amp models! This pedal is straight forward with 7 amp models, each with a clean and dirty channel. Plus you can turn on the cab simulator for a direct connection to a PA or sound board; or off to a connection to an amp. I have it first in my chain followed by effects. Nice product, great price.

Killer pedal!
I really like this pedal. I dont kown if im lucky but im having no problem running this into the front of my amp. I have a eq pedal after the flamma fs06 as a buffer then into my amp, and it works fine. The only problem I had is the fs06 didnt like running on the same power supply with my other pedals, it had a static hiss, even with no effect on. A seprate power supply fixed that problem. I like all the models they all sound like what they are, except the ac30 vox. Dont what ac30 they modeled but its not very bright, the ac30's ive played through have a ton of treble. I think thats the weak sounding model. One revewer thought the 5150 sucked, through my rig it sounds killer. I even got a nice clean tone on the 5150 clean setting, almost fender like. I get a good clean sound from my rig without the fs06, im going to use it as a dirt and drive pedal. For$70 I got 7 great overdrive and distortion pedals in one , cant beat it!

It was a decent preamp pedal while it worked
Don't get me wrong, the preamp sounds this pedal produced were good (not the best, but very workable) and even cab sim was very very decent, 6 amp sounds of clean and dirty channels of each. However, after about 4 (maybe 5 at most) years of my owning it, it just quit on me one day. Now I have a $60 purple brick sitting on a shelf.

Good value for the price and decent sounds - not designed to run into the front of your amp
This is a decent sounding preamp pedal with seven different amp types. Each amp type has a "clean" and a "crunch" channel so it's pretty versatile. I probably would not use it at a gig, but you could in a pinch. This preamp is not designed to plug into the front of your guitar amp. According to the manual doing so may result in "unexpected tone issue". It can plug into other inputs that run direct into the power amp section of your amp like the fx return or line in if your amp has either of those. Or you could run it into a PA or a FRFR powered speaker. Pros: Good value for the price and you can get some decent sounds out of it if you play around with it. The cab sim sounds pretty good when recording direct to a DAW. Do the presets sound like the amps they are modeled on? Not exactly but it's close enough for playing around at home or as an emergency backup for a gig. It's built well. The paintwork is fine unlike some of the cheaper pedals coming out lately. The knobs are plastic but solid and tight enough that they don't wiggle. The footswitch and the input/output jacks appear sturdy. Cons: There is some hiss at higher gain levels. The documentation that comes with the preamp pedal is minimal. There is a user guide on the Flamma website which covers the operation of the unit in more detail. The details on turning the cab sim on and off are slightly inaccurate in that they say the footswitch will blink slowly if the cab sim is on. It's the Save/Select button that blinks on mine. Perhaps they updated firmware or something since the manual was written. It runs on external 9 volt power only which is not included. Overall not a bad pedal and something handy to have around especially if you run your guitar through a DAW for practice or recording and want to experiment with different tones without paying for a Line 6 Helix or other modeling rig.

Rad pedal!
Rad pedal for the money!! It’s a little tough to figure out at first but once you play with it enough it’s really fun! I haven't actually played around with many other preamp pedals before this, but I think all of the seven different presets sound really good. All of them have a clean and dirty channel. I played quite a few different genres of music and I found great sounds for all of them with this pedal. The only negative thing I would say is there is quite a bit of hum when you turn up the gain so I’m not sure if this is something I would play at a show. It’s definitely still a cool pedal to play with at home or jamming with friends though. The quality of this pedal is worth the money for sure.

It is truly a preamp
FLAMMA FS06 Digital Preamp: Recording into a Tascam DR-40X, a preamp is required. Many guitar fx pedals, including some labelled as 'preamps' don't raise the signal to the level needed. This Flamma does that. I've not explored too much; instead just went directly to 'blue coral' amp setting and began recording. After an hour or so, there isn't really any heat to speak of. The previous pre-amp put out a lot of heat; both at the 'wall wart' and at the unit itself. On a hot day this was like a heater in the room (maybe it would be useful on cold winter days). So this Flamma not only performs as a real preamp, but it is also 'very low heat' in operation. From what I've heard, it sounds good, too. If you want a real preamp for guitar, this Flamma definitely one of them.

FS-06 Preamp - Best for distortion tones, cleans have clipping issues
I really like this pedal, and for the money, I can't say that I regret the purchase. The Fender and Vox amps have issues on the clean side of things. If the input is hit too hard from your guitar, it tends to have a nasty digital sounding distortion on it that is hard to avoid. The Marshall, Friedman, 5150, and Mesa are pretty OK on the clean channel, but those amps aren't really known for sparkling cleans. That being said, the distortion channels on the higher-gain amps sound fantastic. I can't speak to the Mesa as I've never owned one, but as an owner of Marshalls, and having owned an original 5150, I feel like the sounds are spot on and more than usable. If the clean sounds are something you're really after, I would probably pass on this unless they address the clipping issue. You can find examples of it on YouTube.

Run into effect return!!
After being extremely disappointed by the Donner preamp mini pedals ( the incredible v was faulty out of the box and the 5150 type was ,in my opinion horrible sounding and a waste of money) I decided to come back out of the rabbit hole and stop...then I saw this. It comes in a nice familiar pedal format, appears very well built, and is easy to operate. With plenty of options too...and the price is beyond awesome. After a quick play around with it, I felt it was "lacking" something. I have classic tube amps and solid state,so I try everything. Anyway, after thinking about the price, then getting mad at myself for having even bought it, I tried it straight into the effect return....and bingo!! More like it!! And from the instructions, I think that's where they really recommend you put it...so yes, 5 stars. Honestly, I still have to go play with it...but if you buy it, run it into the effect return!!

Seven Amplifiers - Tone for Days
Before I go into how awesome this pedal sounds, let's just quickly talk features. You have 7 different preamps, from US classic to tweed to full-on metal. Add the fact that you can set each one independently as well as offer both CLEAN and DIRTY channels. Plus they throw in one very nice cab simulator and multiple footswitch option for switch channels and on/off setting, and you have one powerhouse of a drive pedal!! I'm more of a plexi fan and this pedal did not disappoint - nice midrange and drive. The high-gain preamps had lots of tone and even the cleaner tweed preamps were not brittle but very glassy and brilliant. You could litterally spend hours tweeking and jamming. Whatever they chose for the cab sim works well on all preamps, but I was even able to turn it off and use my own in my DAW. Great tone, great features, and tone for days! Well done FLAMMA.

Excelente
Emula muy bien los modelos de amplificadores que incluye y me encantó que puedes cambiar entre ambos canales de cada amplificador. Muy contento con el sonido.
