Review: Partana, one of the better EVOOs - My first experience with Partana is the use in Starbucks Oleato (olive oil infused latte). It gave it a hint of olive oil flavor and it totally blends in to a smooth taste that doesn't distract from the coffee. From that first taste i bought some to make oleato's at home, but tasted it with garlic for a bread dip, then used it in my spaghetti, any italian dish asking for olive oil, i use it and use it for general cooking, frying my eggs, potatoes, always seem to taste better using this oil. Besides the health benefits of EVOO, this is one of the better brands and always seems to leave critics with a tastes better then other EVOO comments then others. So that's why i continue to buy this. It's made in Sicily and does thankfully have an expiration date usually on the top. Overall, a great EVOO and costs less then some of the so called high end EVOOs. Review: Simply Extraordinarily Delicious ! - Our household has been using this superb olive oil since we first discovered it 22 years ago. Funnily, while we were on vacation two summers ago, we enjoyed a meal at a posh restaurant. They'd given us bread and oil and balsamic at cocktail time. The olive oil was amazingly wonderful. I asked our wait person what it was. During our meal the manager came to our table holding a tin of Partanna! I knew it had to be, it's unmistakably delicious, fragrant, economical. We use it every day in our home. It is simply the best quality! A Palm Springs CA wannabe chef.

Wonderful Olive Oil in the Sicilian Tradition--Highest Quality
This is the most amazing olive oil I have tasted, except, perhaps, for the stuff I just had when I was in Sicily last November at an agritourismo B+B where they made it on the property. I hesitated to review this for selfish reason because I want it to be in stock when I want to order more. I am so excited that I could find it on Amazon. Previously, I would only order my olive oil from a company in California, but for this olive oil I overcome my environmental scruples and buy something shipped in from another country. I am an experienced cook. I am blown away by the flavor of this olive oil. For those having trouble will spillage, pull the spout up straight until it is fully extended before you twist off the cap. This is a good, useful cap. In the old days you had to open a tin of olive oil with a can opener, and then it was messy.

Great Olive Oil
I use this for most of my cooking and salads. For me, this is the ONLY olive oil that satisfies my personal tastes. Try it, you'll see what I'm talking about. It's so good, I can use it with fresh bread and parm cheese as a snack it's so good!

Above Average Sicilian Olive Oil Not Available in Most Retail Outlets but Packaging was Poor
This olive oil is exceptional with the kind of rich, full flavor one usually can only find when in Sicily. The size of the container is also practical to handle with a user friendly, closable spout. It's good for all kinds of cooking as well as salad dressings or dipping a quality, crusty bread as they do in Sicily. If you're looking for the real thing from Italy, you won't be disappointed in Partanna Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our only complain for our most recent order was the packaging, as one of the containers was badly damaged causing an eruption of olive oil when opened.

Great flavor, great price
My wife and I were introduced to high quality olive oil in a restaurant in Nice specializing in dishes made of olive oil and where we were treated to a dissertation (with sampling, of course) on grades of olive oil by the proprietor. Since that time, about 5 years ago, we have been much more discerning about the olive oil we purchase and use. We highly recommend Partanna for its freshness and smooth, not bitter, taste. We use a lot of the stuff in our cooking and have no regrets.

Very High Quality
This filtered extra virgin olive oil is the best one I have tried. I take two tablespoons each morning for health. I learned this because Pope Pius XII was advised, during his seminary days in Rome, to take two tablespoons each day for his health. It worked! Extra virgin olive oil loses potency over time. The shelf life is about two years. With this brand, it appears to have a little more of bite to it and I am thinking it is fresher than many other brands. It has a good taste for salads, vegetables, on bread. I like the two--pack, each about 34 oz. It is easy to handle. I have not tried the 3 liter version yet. It has a very attractive tin can, which keeps the oil cool. You can use it to decorate your kitchen after.
