The compressor is useful for something this small being used for bass and actually at low volumes reproduces low B better than expected. **Q: Please tell me, does the ⅛" imput socket on the amplifier's top (described as an MP3 input "for jamming along") accept and play an analog/mic signal?** A: No, it's line level input socket. You can't connect microphone directly to the line level input socket. You need a microphone pre-amplifier for that. As soon your microphone is amplified ( using an optional mic pre-amp) you can connect it to that "MP3" line level socket. **Q: Can this be used during a parade for portable usage?** A: It is better used inside, but it can be used for a parade. Nonetheless I like the sound of this amp, and I am pleased with the purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Revised review - Better than initially thought it was *by N***N on March 14, 2024* It has taken a little time to figure out how to get the best sound out of this little amp, the instructions are not that helpful. After I added the fly103 extension cabinet and figured out 1) it cannot handle active electronics, so set the pass in passive mode, and 2) the little "sub" knob adds tremendously to the bottom end of the amp, I found this thing to be surprisingly capable of putting out decent sound, especially for it's size. It's not a set-up for performance or playing with another instrument, but it is excellent as a practice amp when playing solo and trying not to annoy neighbors. I would suggest buying the package to include the extension cabinet and the AC converter.
