As a camera operator, I wanted be able to add a better monitor to the camera I was using while working various events. This Lilliput monitor fit my needs the best, as I had previous experience with the monitor. The brightness is great, especially when working daytime events in bright sunlight. The setup is easy and, once you figure out the menu buttons, changes are easy to make.

I already have a 5" Blackmagic Monitor, but I wanted to try and rock a 7" and wasn't really interested in paying top dollar for another monitor...Let's say that this was a mistake. The Liliput monitor has a weird way of rendering contrast and the colors are all out of wack.If I display in log, everything is washed out (as expected), bit if I use a lut to add contrast (what I usually do with my other monitors) the highlight start clipping and banding appears in the colors.I now have a useless piece of gear I will never use and I will end up buying either a SmallHD or an Atomos...Being cheap is always more expensive

Ein pfiffiges, kleines tragbares Kästchen.Gekauft, um von einem Broadcast Camcorder gefüttert zu werden. Der hat zwar ein kleines Display, aber Schärfe ziehen bei Sonnenschein oder bei permanenter Bewegung des Objektes ist doch sehr mühselig. Daher war mir der SDI Eingang sehr wichtig. Ausserdem nutze ich den Monitor an einem P2 Videorecorder....der leider auch ein viel zu kleines Display hat und mit dem Fieldmonitor bestens zusammen arbeitet.Mittlerweile hat sich der Einsatzzweck schon etwas erweitert....das kleine Monitorchen steht ständig auf dem Gartentisch beim Grillen oder ähnlichen Gelegenheiten. An dem HDMI Eingang ist der Amazon Fire TV Stick aufgeklemmt und wir schauen auch bei Sonnenschein TV, Mediatheken oder Live TV. Das ist richtig klasse, da alles über Akku läuft und somit in kurzer Zeit auf oder abgebaut werden kann. Mit zwei gebrauchten 3500mAh Akku läuft dieser Monitor um 3,5 Stunden, wobei die Akku nicht 100% fit sind.5 verdiente Sterne für Handling, Funktionen, Bild, Anschlussmöglichkeiten und Vielseitigkeit. 3 Sterne für die etwas mangelhafte Tonqualität, was aber bei mir keine Rolle spielt, da der Monitor auch einen Kopfhörerausgang hat und hier werkelt dann via Kabel verbunden ein Teufel Aktivlautsprecher.Wenn das Gerätchen jetzt noch durch Haltbatkeit und lange Funktion positiv auffällt....bin ich sehr zufrieden und klare Kaufempfehlung.
