Sometimes a shoe horn helps. This one is metal and nice and long which is a plus. The metal heavy metal and doesn't bend. Much preferred to the short one I had been using.

I have two longer stainless shoe horns. Needed a shorter one to fit my suitcase for travel. This worked perfectly. One thing I have learned from other purchases is to get a 2mm think shoe horn as a 1mm one will bend over time.My only complaint? It took a bit of a search and some high school math to find and then convert .08 inches (thickness) to 2mm. Whohas any idea what .08 inches looks like? Anyway, good product. Nice smooth edges.

I bought 2 pairs of the famous S brand Slip Ins sneakers which were pricey, and both wore out at the back of the shoe within a short period of time. The famous S company would not accept returns, so I purchased adhesive pads for the back of the shoes. However, when I put my foot in, the adhesive pads start to peel down (I've tried 2 different types), but with this shoe horn I can avoid rubbing on the pads when I put my foot in. It works perfectly!

Much better than expected for the price. Our family member faces swollen feet, advanced age mobility and dexterity limits. This is a perfect assistance tool for self-care or help from others, as neeed.
