Great Archival Photo Storage!
I’ve been transferring precious, old photographs out of ancient albums that are acidic and causing damage and yellowing to them. I needed an archival solution for long term storage and protection. I’ve purchased from Lineco before and have been pleased with their products so decided to try this archival Boxbinder storage box. It is an easy to use three ring binder with a cover to protect all sides from dust and light. It’s constructed of acid free, lignin free, rigid cardboard and the corners are reinforced with metal. I also purchased separately several photo sizes of acid free, heavyweight, photo-sleeves that fit into a three ring binder. These works great so I can adjust the size photo-sleeve I need depending on the size of the photos. (FYI: 5x7 sleeves work great for cabinet cards, 3x5 for tintypes.) Using this three ring Boxbinder—which holds up to 50 pages—I can easily make changes and adjustments in my layout. I’m very pleased with this product. The only thing I might suggest to improve it is some kind of integrated placeholder on the cover to slide in a label. Maybe it could be made of metal—like the corner reinforcements— and mounted on the side or front. This would enable me to change the label if need be since I’d rather not write on the box itself. Overall it’s a great product for protecting and accessing photos without damaging them. I will likely buy more for my vast collection of photos.

Archiving Family letters
This was just what I needed to store my grandfather’s letters. The binder format allows me to keep the pages in order in protective plastic sheets. I ordered more.

Great Memory Keeper
These are a little spendy but they have held up great over several years. I used them for my kids’ school drawings, pictures and accomplishment's using clear sheet protectors. My kids are adults now and appreciate having all of those memories in one organized closed binder.

Simple elegant storage for keepsakes
These are great for safety organizing keepsake papers and more. I bought a few to keep mementos from family documents and other odd size things.

Lineco Archival Binder damage
Nice binders. One is in excellent condition. The other is dented in (creased) along one side. You have to wonder how that's possible given how tightly packaged they are in this set of two....unless the damage occurred before they were wrapped. I'll use both as the archived materials will not need the reduced half inch inside. Just a heads up for Lineco.
